I'm gonna go ahead answer this too. For me, the first thing I notice about someone on here is their username. Some catch my eye and when they do, I check out their profile and then their recent posts, etc. An interesting username gets me interested. Or sometimes it's not that it's a unique username, it's just that it's so normal it's perfect. But yeah, that's what I notice first about people on here.

I have signatures and avatars disabled so those are out of the question. The first thing I notice is username, then I guess it would be the coding, and then writing.

I think I look at the avatars/usernames. Then the signature (since quite a few users disable their sigs on posts) if I'm interested enough.
