Sarah arched an eyebrow. "No one, huh?" She shifted closer to him. "Come on, I won't tell. You know you can trust me."

JJ shook his head. "No one," he repeated.

Sarah laughed. "Yeah right! Come on, someone's gotta be good enough for my JJ."

He sighed. "You," he whispered.

Sarah's smile faded a little bit out of shock. "W-What did you say?" she asked, watching him.

He sighed. "I like you. I have for a while but I didn't want to tellyou cause I didn't want anything to change."

Sarah backed away a bit, though she still sat beside him. Her gaze fell to her hands as she tried to fully understand. "I..." she began, but she couldn't find the words to form a sentence. JJ liked her? How hadn't she picked up on it? How long had he liked her? She was so confused. She didn't know what to feel.

JJ sighed and stood up. "I'll drive you home if you want," he murmured and grabbed his keys.

"No, JJ..." Sarah caught his hand quickly. There was a long pause before she gently pulled him back down beside her. "I just...it surprised me was all." She sat on her knees, her eyes searching his face. "Don't make me go? Because there's something I have to do."
