WICKED is good? but what even is WICKED? fifty years into the future governments from around the globe come together after a natural? disaster. the sun didn't necessarily erupt and kill the human race otherwise WICKED would never be formed. no, that's not what happened. the star in the sky the humans trusted for years finally shown its true face. no one knew when or why it happened, the destruction came at random. sun flares cooked the surface of the earth. water damaged the interior of subways. the aftermath leaving all to scramble inside. those with guns ruled the outside world if they weren't baked alive. this was twenty years before the decision of the world powers to unite as one, to find some sort of way to live in harmony.

the united states, unlike many of the other developed countries, worked right away to savage what they could. security was on high as major cities like denver, boston, and chicago used their means of money to build stable fences. they used the advanced technology to learn when bergs were coming in, where they were going, and searching for any disease one might have contracted. other developed countries communicated with the new government offering advice, the best of their people, and nuclear weapons. now with the intelligent people flying to america, they named the newest disease: the flare.

the flare has one particular symptom that occurs in everyone and anyone. it does not matter what age you are, what you weigh, or your gender - this one symptom happens to every being including animals (only farm animals can now be found on earth). around the third week of contracting the flare, you begin to lose your mind - similar to the mad cow disease. scientists have found the disease slowly eats away at your brain. some can look mildly alike to what people have called "zombies" in the past. some are blood-thirsty, some might beg for them to be killed, and others just like the satisfaction of hurting the healthy. the name for the infected is cranks.

it is now the year of 2064. the world is slowly healing and reviving from the pandemic. there are people outside the city walls who are still with the disease. the government, WICKED, called upon the immunes to help find a cure twelve years ago today. the immunes they have found show no promise and were later dissected to figure out why they were immune. the only improvement over the years were isolated bases and the drug: bliss. but, today, something happened - something entirely different. burgs flew over denver, colorado and everything went completely silent. then, the doors opened and in came military type persona. when they left, they took eight hidden immunes all of the ages seventeen, eighteen, and nineteen. there was no more hiding, it was time for them to fight their way to freedom and to learn what the government, a group called WICKED, is hiding. now with only one thing in mind, survival, could the adventure lead to the answers the innocent population has been searching for or is death waiting at the other side?

quick note to the weary - ✩;; out of the entire population of the world, only a small percentage were found immune to the flare. those who weren't would sooner or later turn into a crank. the flare eats away your brain, the process is faster if you are under stress. while it eats away at your brain, you turn into a crazed human that has a taste for blood. there is only one way to slow the disease down: the bliss. however, even if the drug clouds your mind, only the rich can buy it. it is easy to spot someone on the bliss granted they stare at the sky or don't have a care in the world. burgs are huge flying ships. if you ever played halo, i would imagine them as a falcon or a banshee meant for quite a few people. if you have not played the halo games, a flying submarine should do the trick. people with experience can only fly them. it is nothing like riding a bike. it takes years to learn how to control the beauty.

let's regard the characters first. i will allow up to two characters per person. if you want two characters, they must be of the opposite gender. no two girls, no two guys. however, if the role play is almost ready to start and we only need one more dude, then i will most likely take that role up. character ages should be from 17-19 - no older or younger. any nationality of a character is welcomed. they can be african american, spanish, korean, english, american, and so forth. forms can be any length. literacy should be more than seven lines per character. i'm going to tell you once and that should be enough: if your writer's block makes it so you can't post seven lines at minimum, do not reply until you've got some sort of inspiration. romance is okay. i read the maze runner (like every book), i thought thomas and teresa would be cute together but she turned out to be a total [screams into wind]. however, the end of the book i forgave her for her bravery. if you read the maze runner, or are reading the first book, i am about to do a spoiler: they kiss. but thomas thinks of her as a someone who betrays them and eventually finds a new girl and gets together with her. you see this drama and romance? that's perfectly okay.

Personality: Tris holds up a brave front, and isn't afraid of most things. One of her biggest fears, however, is watching everyone around her die. Her nightmares dictate the future, and she believes that she's bad fortune. This brings her down from time to time, and she wants to leave the group. Though nothing extremely bad has happened yet- she's been able to see the future before, and she knows deep down it will happen, but she refuses to believe it. That's her stubbornness acting. Tris's other fear is being alone.. she's grown attached to the group, and wants to stay with them, although she's just a trigger to unfortunate events. On the other hand, Tris is both co-dependent and self-dependent, meaning she needs the help of others around her from time to time, to keep her from falling back and giving up, and she can also handle things on her own. When she's not worrying about what will happen next, Tris can be pretty joyful and sweet. She puts everyone's lives ahead of her own, but not so much that she's extremely suicidal for them. She'll just do what's right.
Likes: She has a crush on Coen, so she likes him. She also likes animals, and bodies of water (rivers, lakes, etc.) She enjoys the rain, and the beach.
Dislikes: People who underestimate her for her size, extremely cold or hot temperatures, sleeping, and being alone.
Anything Else?: Although Tris is short, she's good at hand to hand fighting and guns. Guns make her feel more dangerous than she already is, so she tends to do without them unless absolutely needed. She is good with daggers and knives, and also with her fists. She's fast for her size,and good at hiding. Tris is pretty attached to Coen, and treats him as a really good friend, though, she has secret feelings for him that are actually pretty obvious.

Hana was born on april 19th only eighteen years ago, which would mean that the young female would only be eighteen years old. Being a young female only being considered to be a young adult by her family, or so used to be family she is by far a quiet and yet childish girl when it comes to arguing or like most, crushes. Hana comes from a Japanese background, although she actually has never visited or lived in asia or even close as her parents began living in the united states three years before she was born.
