JJ sighed. "I know," he said. "I'm sorry he's hurting you so much. I'd like to-" he stopped with a sigh. He was going to say he'd like to show him what it feels like to be hurt but he didn't think that would go over to well with her.

Sarah bit her lip. "You'd like to what?" she asked, lifting her head to look at him. Her watery eyes searched his face.

"I was gonna say I'd like to show him hurt," he sighed.

Sarah winced. "Don't. Please?" Her emotions with Jake were so mixed up and confused that she had no idea how she'd feel towards that.

"I won't," he promised her. "But if he hurts you one more time..." he sighed. "I don't know if I can make any promises then. But lets forget about all this drama for now okay?"

Sarah just listened to him as he spoke. When he was finished, she nodded slightly and sniffled. "Can we do something else? Anything else?" She didn't want to stay on this topic.

JJ nodded and smirked. "Abything?" He said and tickled her.

Sarah yelped in surprise and tried to squirm away from him to no avail. Her tears were forgotten as she began to laugh, which was a drastic change in mood. "JJ-!" she exclaimed between giggles.

JJ smiled at his success to make her laugh. "Sarah!" He said back, laughing.

Sarah tried without success to hide her smile. She hit his arm lightly. "Don't make me laugh when I'm sad." Even so, a smile lingered on her lips.
