"Good idea!" Kestrelclaw praised him. "Jumpin' on your foe's back is a great way to take 'em on, 'specially if they're bigger than you. Just gotta 'member that they can roll over and crush you, got it? If ya see them rear up like this at all..." He pushed his forepaws off the ground so that he reared up briefly on his hind legs, then dropped back down onto all fours. "Then that's your signal to get off. If your legs happen to be long enough, ya can also try digging your claws into your foe's chest or neck and pull yourself up an' over 'em that way while also givin' them a good cut that might slow 'em down afterward. Now, we'll try one more battle move and then we'll get back to camp, 'kay?"

Batfang sniffed the air as well and swiveled his ears back and forth, searching for any signs of prey. The scent of wagtail immediately hit his nostrils and he dropped quickly into the hunters' crouch, padding slowly but surely in the direction that the scent was coming from. He spotted the small bird settled on the ground, a tiny bug in its beak. He stalked forward silently, the tip of his tail twitching eagerly, then pounced all of a sudden and landed squarely on the wagtail, killing it with a quick bite to the neck. Batfang picked up the bird in his mouth, looking quite pleased with himself, and buried it at the roots of a tree. "We'll come back for it later. Can you scent any more prey around here?"

Diptail saw the apprentice with mousebile "Finally! I have one here and here." he pointed with his tail at the two ticks on his back. "Make sure to get those, they have been killing me all day!"

Pebbleface slowly walked into the elders den "When you are done with that grumpy cat could you help me with this one on my shoulder? I can't quite reach it." She laid down with a puff.

Coalpelt looked at Larkpaw "Good,you'll be fine" she padded near the highrock "Moonstar,would you like to go hunting?"

Vineheart padded around the forest,taking in the smells

Finishing Diptail's ticks, Graypaw turned to the high rock. He couldn't wait to wash of all of the bile.
