Winter nodded slightly, looking at her paws. "I don't really fit in here. I feel so, so useless."

Oceanbreeze giggled looking at Stormcloud. "I know right!"

"Of course not, all cats are useful! Hey, how about I teach you how to fight? Sure, you're blind, but you do have 4 sharp senses still don't you?" I said, getting up and stretched.

Stormcloud
"I think someone knew I was coming and scared all the prey away!" I complained, still unable to find anything. "Tch, when will these prey face their fears and die?"

"Well yeah..." Winter shrugged. "But i don't know if I'm really ready, eather way everyone looks at me weird. What good will having fighting moves do?" She mewed.

"Hmmm..." Oceanbreeze squinted, still scanning. "Well, we still have to find something to take back. We could go fishing..? Oooh wait!" She jumped. "We can go to our island! There's plenty of prey there!" She mewed excidely.

"Yeah! That's a great idea! Our next stop, Stormy Ocean!" I say, jumping off ahead of her.

Thunderstrike
"Well, it'll show that you're not weak and one to not mess with!" I said, clawing at the ground.

Oceanbreeze followed happily, prancing behind him.

"But i do want to be messed with!" She hissed, clawing at the ground herself. "So what if I'm tough after training! I just want a friend, I'm tired of being ignored and feeling useless!" Winter plopped herself down by the river and splashed at the water, flinging it up at the both of them seeing her hideous reflection.

"Don't worry, the clan will come around some time. But do you want to be killed, first of all? Just look," I struck at her neck, claws sheathed. "You can be attacked blindly."

Stormcloud
Reaching the island, I clawed my way to surface, shaking my pelt. I saw a mouse nibbling on food, so I got into my hunting position and pounced on it, blood leaking onto the ground. I picked it up, looking at Oceanbreeze. "Got one!" My words muffled under the prey.

Oceanbreeze turned to him with a fish she had caught from the river and stiffled a purr. "I did too!"

Winter winced as Thunderstrike pawed at her neck, blindly. She played with the water between her paws, carving little tunnels with a claw and disording the rivers flow onto the shore. "Fine."

I sighed. "Well, later I'll introduce you to my sister and friends of mine. Maybe you guys will be friends to start off. Anyways, if a cat tries to attack from behind what do you do?" I tested her.

Stormcloud
Stormcloud laughed, putting the mouse down. "Let's see who catches the most prey!" He said, jumping into a bush and came out with 2 fairly small squirrels.

Oceanbreeze ran to the forest, just a little bit off. "Challenge accepted!" She purred as she sprinted away, and literaly finding a burrow of mice.

"Um," Winter shrugged. "I don't know... just attack you?"

"Hm, no, well if you're blind here's a simple technique, use your ears and smell to hear and sense them coming. Then flip around and kick 'em away. Now, try to attack me from behind. I'll show you what I mean, oh and don't forget to unsheathe your claw when you kick them away! But for practice, I suggest you don't unsheathe your claws at all." He said, turning his back on her so she could attack.

Stormcloud returned to his private pile, dropping some trouts on it. As he went back to the forest he fell into a lake, swimming upwards and placed his paws on the surface, gasping. His fur was drenched. He shook most of the water out before finding a frog or two, putting it onto his growing pile.
