Lizzie chuckled softly and leaned forward to kiss his cheek. "If you say so."

"And Evan," Lucy echoed, still watching Red. The dragon took a step towards them.

He laughed and nodded.

Evan nodded ans smiled at Red.

Lizzie pulled back and smiled at him.

Soon Lucy was in front of Red, holding her hands out in front of her to let him know that it was okay. Red recognized her and bowed his head, not lashing out like he had before.

Rory kissed her head and rubbed her back. "I love you."

Evan watched them and smiled.

Lizzie smiled softly to herself. "I love you too." She leaned into his side.

Red lifted his head and looked to Evan. He stepped over to him.

Rory kissed her head and rubbed her arm, sighing.

Evan held his hand out for Red to sniff.

Lizzie tilted her head to see him as he sighed. "What?" she murmured.

Red sniffed his hand carefully. After a moment, he seemed to brighten up. He licked his hand with his forked tongue as he recognized him.

"Just thinking about what me and Lucy talked about," he said.

Evan smiled and put his other hand on Red's cheek

Lizzie tipped her head. "What did you talk with Lucy about?" She paused and glanced down at Jasper. "Hey Jas, why don't you go play with your toys for a little while?"

Red's huge tail swayed back and forth in delight. He remembered them. He'd missed them.

Lucy watched them, smiling to herself.
