You fill oupt the form that the artist provides. After a while they will close the contest to new forms and pick a winner.

This certain 'pet' is a runner up, or a slightly different version of the original 'pet' awarded to one who did not win but tried just as hard c:

If it is a closed species created by someone besides you (like kiamaras) you must become an artist to desisn 'pets' and give them away in cmpetitions. However artist positions are usually hand-picked by the owner of the species, you cant just become an artist if you ask.

If you design the 'pet', in oekaki, you can sell it for whatever you want . It's really simple.
