The Rainbow After the Storm (Heavy Rain RP.)

Madison jumped when there was a knock on the door. She sat up and ran her hands through her short hair, glancing over at the food and crawling across the bed. "What'd we order, again?" she asked, popping her fingers. She slid off of the bed, fixing her shirt as she looked down at the food. She picked up the bottle of wine, chuckling. "Do you ever even drink, anyways?" she asked curiously. Usually she didn't, though she didn't mind if Norman did or not. That was his business, anyways.

The blonde-haired waitress jumped when the same man returned. She shook her head. "No. I apologize. Has she been here before or something?" she asked.

Norman looked over at her as the man left. "Uh...I used to." He smiled and shut the door. "It was a long time ago, really. But then I got into the FBI," he chuckled and jumped up onto the bed with her and looked at the food, uncovering the plates gently. "Uh, I got you chicken fingers, hope ya don't mind. And I got a cheeseburger." He smiled and looked over at the bottle and the glasses again. "But no. I normally don't. Unless it's a special occasion and I'm not on duty...Blake would kill me." He laughed as he slipped off the bed again and crouched down by the closet, unlocking a safe and placing his gun and badge in there. He then walked over and scooped up his tie, placing it round his neck casually and sitting back on the bed. "Alright. Eat up."

"Entail says she was seen here a few days ago," Blake explained, not wanting to mention another agent had told him. It was none of the waitress's business. "Uh, thanks for your time." He said as he walked back over to Zayden. "No," he explained with a head shake, "No one has seen her. Do you want to keep looking?" Carter walked over to the door to see it was beginning to rain. And rain meant pouring it that town.

Madison shook her head, eyeing the food hungrily. She realized then that she really hadn't eaten that much all day..just picked at stuff. But not an actual meal. "No, that's fine. That's great, actually. I love chicken fingers." she told Norman, beginning to eat as she listened to him talk. She wiped her mouth on a napkin. "Thanks so much. Do you want me to pay you back for this?" she asked politely, looking over at Jayden. She doubted he'd make her, but she felt she owed him something. And not just for the food, for letting her stay here and..well, everything.

Zayden sighed. He didn't expect for them to have seen her, but at the same time, he couldn't help but feel slightly disappointed. "I guess we should keep looking. We can't just let her run completely off with that." he said. "Not only is it government property and stuff, but.." he sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Think of all the information on it, you know?" he said.

Norman looked over at her and smiled gently. "No. No, I got this. Everything's under control," he placed her hand on his and smiled as he picked up a french fry and started munching on it. He looked over at her again and swallowed. "Yeah...I remembered ya did," he laughed and picked up his burger, munching on it and feeling the water from the lettuce drip into his mouth. Nothin' like a cheeseburger on a rainy day like this! he thought, then looked over at the window. It was raining something fierce! He frowned, and glanced back at Madison. He didn't really want for her to go back out in this mess. No one needed to be out in the rain. "Does it always rain like this around here?" he asked quietly as he picked up another fry.

"I know," Carter gave him a look of distain before looking out the window again. "That's what worries me." he admitted, finally opening the door and darting out. "Where do you want to check next?" He yelled through the storm. "If we knew where she lived, we could just bumrush and search the place!"

Madison smiled slightly. "Are you sure? Really, I feel bad. I mean, you didn't have to let me stay here and stuff." he said. She then sighed softly, nodding. "It's pretty much constant," she said, following his gaze out the window as she munched on her food. "It sucks, but I've gotten used to it. Doesn't mean I like it, though," she said, dipping a piece of chicken into ketchup.

Zayden followed him outside, though he didn't get into a hurry as much as he did. "Are you sure you can't somehow find her address?" he asked. "We at least know her name. Isn't that enough?" he asked. He wasn't an expert on this stuff, though he thought Blake might know more than he did.

"Must get old fast," Jayden said with a shrug, and looked over at Madison again and smiled. "Maddy-Moo...don't worry about it, you're free here anytime," he added as he kissed her cheek and smiled. "Don't worry, really," he held her hand again. "I'm the one with the worry issues here, remember?" He chuckled and bit into his burger again, smiling and glancing down at the wine again, then shifted. He was pretty thirsty...but why did it have to be wine? Of all the drinks they could have chosen, they chose alcohol. He looked at Madison again and dipped another fry in the ketchup.

"Do you know her last name?" Blake asked as he strided over to Zayden's car again. "If we just had her last name, then that would make everything easier!" he yelled back again. "All I know is that her name is Graybay, but I'm assuming that's a nickname of some sorts," he mumbled, getting in the car. "And I doubt someone would register anything under the name Graybay."

"It does. I just wish it'd be sunny for once. Sometimes it is..for, like, 5 minutes," she laughed, gathering up all her trash as she finished eating. Madison then felt the smile returning to her face. "Thanks again, Norman." she said, throwing all the trash away and turning towards the window, stretching slightly.

Zayden shook his head. "Nope. But I heard Norman call her Grayce quite a few times." he said. "I don't know if that's her real name or what, but.." he shrugged. "Still, there's probably 1,000 people with that name. Heck, even we know another Grace." he said dejectedly, getting into the car himself and starting it back up. He sighed and turned the heat on.

"No problem," Jayden said gently, smiling when she smiled. He got up and gathered the trash, walking to the door. "You can just place the trash outside the door, they'll come and pick it up," he told, shutting the door behind him and locking it. He turned back around and smiled, taking his tie off again, discarding it in a small pile. "Tired? Wanna sleep?" he asked, yawning, crawling onto the bed and throwing back the covers. "A nap sounds pretty good...especially with this weather."

"Yeah," Carter sighed, looking at the rain again. "Man, it's really coming down!" He turned around to see Zayden again and tried racking his brain for an idea, any idea about what to do next. "We can go back to the station. See if Ash found anything? " He suggested. Frankly, that was the only idea Carter could come up with. There were no other leads other than her name. What else was there to do? They needed to get the ARI back and fast!

Madison nodded, watching him. "Oh," she said in understanding, beginning to understand more how life was here for Norman. She then nodded, flopping backwards onto the bed where she had been laying previously. She laughed slightly, rubbing her eyes as she rolled over to face Norman. "We can try, I guess." she told him. She couldn't guarantee that she'd fall asleep, but even just laying there was good enough for her as long as she was with Norman.

Zayden nodded, pulling back out into the main road and beginning the drive back to the station. What else could they do? The situation seemed almost hopeless. If anything, Graybay had to at least be a little smart with the way she didn't even tell them her name.
It was almost as if she had just dropped off the face of the Earth and never existed.

Norman smiled and wrapped his arms around Madison, giving a soft chuckle, and pulled her up on one of the pillows. "There, better?" he asked, pulling the covers up over her before crawling back on his side, the side closest to the wall, and smiling. "Maddy...if you have an attack," he blinked, " it'll be alright, believe me." Jayden added softly before kissing her goodnight. "We can do something to get your mind off of it...don't worry. I'm here, I got ya." He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her again, smiling. "Night."
