MoonGaze stooped and looked up, he could see smoke riseing "it's a fire! That's where the patrol went" he said.

BladeFire looked across, the flames burned brighter as the closer they got to them.

i see Scarletfur sniffing the air "Can you smell the smoke too?" i ask padding towards her

Scarletfur meowed,"So thats what that was! It smelled familiar. Yeah, do you think there's a fire? Maybe some twolegs?" Her eyes were tinged with worry.

Badgermask padded forward, testing the ground as they neared the flames to make sure it was stable "Try not to inhale smoke and don't get burned." He told his patrol as they moved closer to the fire, he prayed to Starclan if there were any cats in there, that way were still alive and unharmed. He hoped that Reedfoot and Coldpaw were ready for what was to come.


Mudsplash righted herself from the ground and looked over at Lilystream and Scarletfur, worry flashed across her features, Badgermask and his patrol weren't here. She perked her ears listening to their conversation.

Nightshade nods once in agreement, her own gaze seeing the wisps of smoke rising. Her gaze flitters to Ravenpaw, wondering how the shy cat was faring. She couldnt dwell on that though, and instead looks at Viperstar. "Should i stay with you? Or run ahead to warn the others?" She asks, knowing she could reach the camp before they did on her own.

Nightpaw, running with all her might, stayed close with the group of cats she was sent back with. Splitting up now would most definitely be bad timing, thus she stayed in about the center of them. Almost reaching the camp she remembered there were other patrols sent out, and suddenly she was out of breath. "Guys.." She mewed, "What about the other patrols? They will scent the smoke, too, and return to camp, right?" She puffed out the words between breaths.

"Run ahead, Nightshade." Viperstar knew the she-cat was fast, faster than he was. He had stamina, not speed, but stamina was not what they needed right now. "Get the clan together, make sure they're ready to leave, just in case. You and Fishpool are in charge." Lifting his nose, he sniffed the air. "Hurry! The wind is blowing in the camps direction!" He turned to Ravenpaw.[[and Dovepool, but elenah hasn't come on recently so just Ravenpaw for now]] "We'll go and see if we can find the other patrol. Follow me, try and keep up!"

MoonGaze looked at the other cats, he knew that he would have no chance of helping anyone out of the flames.

BladeFire could taste the rancid smoke, he saw a small branch fall in front of them. He suddenly realized that if they spend too long they would get trapped some how "i know the importance of checking if the grounds stable but the longer we take the more chance of us getting stuck in there by a fallen tree or something" he said worried about his clan mates.

Dustcloud looked at Moongaze. "I think we should go and find Viperstar!"

MoonGaze nodded "and quickly" he said.

Nightshade nods once before dashing back in the direction of the camp. With the wind blowing in the camps direction, she knew she had to move quickly. Her paws flying over the earthen ground, she soon reaches the camp. Slightly winded, she gazes around, her own leadership skills kicking in. "Viperstar said to get ready to move out if needed! A fire is heading our way, and he put myself and Fishpool in charge for the time being," she mews, her voice unusually calm and steady as she gazes around the camp.

Ravenpaw looks over at Viperstar, his ears lowered against his head. He watches Nightshade's form disappear towards the camp, before looking back at Viperstar. Before the tom could utter a word, they were off. He moves his paws quickly, refusing to fall behind to show his use.
