"Good call Elliott. I'm tired of walking. Ugh." Fionna let took the seat behind the driver in front of Elliott and smiled back at Annie. "So Ms. Annabelle, what do you think of our little group so far? We're a little much to deal with all at once, I know, too many big personalities and all, but you'll fit in just fine. I wouldn't worry so much. We're very selective about who we let into Ooo, and I'm glad I chose you. Has anyone heard from Marceline or Ben or Marshmallow? You'd think they'd have checked in by now."

Climbing into the van, Bonnie shrugged "Want me to text them? They're probably not even ready yet."

I glanced around at those in the van, then back to Fionna. "you all seem really nice." I said with a happy smile. I wasn't quite sure why I was so cheerful all of a sudden, but it felt nice. A feeling i hadn't felt in a really long time.

Fionna pulled out her phone and sent a text to Marceline. "Hey girl, what's up? U coming tonight? And have you heard from Marsh and Ben?"

I pulled out my phone and opened Fionna's text, "Inviting people. Yeah. Mhm I saw them not too long ago, they went to our house to get ready." I replied.

"Ok, Marcy's inviting more people and Ben and Marsh are apparently at the Aberdeens'. Wanna swing by and pick them up?" Fionna gave everyone the update on their three missing compatriots, and waited for an answer.

I headed back towards my house, no real intention of changing into anything.

I nodded, my cheeks turned pink at the thought of Marshall.
