Ravenpaw nods once, before going on his own way to mark part of the boarder. This might have been his first time out, and a normal apprentice would be reluctant to return, but he was ready. Something still felt off here, and he didnt want to be out longer then necessary

((*Flops on ground* So sorry! I finished college for a week today and I was so pooped when I got home I went straight to sleep and only just got up!))

Badgermask gave a soft chuckle at Leafstorm's excited exclamation but lifted his tail, signaling to the patrol to stop when he could see a light through the trees, at first he thought it might be the sun setting, but on closer inspection, and when the smell of smoke and embers moved through air a look of dread over took his features "That's a fire! We need to go back to camp and tell the others!" he meowed gently, but waited for his clan mates before he fled.

BladeFire stopped hearing BadgerMask "we need to see if there is anyone in there" he said, he knew that there was a small chance to find anyone alive but he wanted to try. He could smell the strong scent of smoke.

Skysplash stopped and looked back at Skystream, while Icethorn merely slowed down slightly. "Yeah, sure." Skysplash mewed with a flick of his tail.

Snowspirit nodded to Moongaze and Dustcloud and followed Talonwind to go remark the borders.

Nightpaw's fur bristled as the scent of smoke overtook her senses. "F-Fire.." She mumbled, her tail suddenly three-times the width of what it normally is. "I-I think Bladefire is right, though. We should try to save anyone who may be trapped in the flames, but the clan should also be warned.. I don't know." Her ears were pinned back to her head as she spoke her thoughts.

BladeFire turned seeing NightPaw and the terror in her face, he turned back with a serious face "how about half of us go back to warn the clan and half go to see if anyone's there, but if they don't want too they can return?" He said, he felt determined to save anyone alive down there, and if it came to it he would go down there on his own.

Badgermask looked at his warriors, he hadn't even thought about other cats being in that blaze. "Alright...Milknose, Skysplash and Nightpaw, you should run back to camp and warn Viperstar if you can." He said, they were new warriors, he didn't want them to get injured or die from something like this and hoped they bore him no ill will from this decision. "The rest of us will stay here and see if we can find anyone in the fire." He meowed, looking back at the flames with a heaviness in his eyes.

Nightpaw was slightly relieved to find that they understood the possibility of cats trapped within the flames. She nodded firmly to Badgermask's decision. Even though she wanted to be one to save a life from the raging fire, she knew she was still an apprentice and probably could not do much in this situation. "Stay safe, all of you.. may StarClan be with you." She mewed, praying to their warrior ancestors that they may all be guided safely.
