I nodded and slipped the backpack onto my back. Excitement buzzed deep within me as I eagerly picked up the helmet. The wind blew softly, a gentle breeze to give the warm day a nice feel to it. I smoothed my hair down before putting the helmet on. I hadn't worn one of these in quite some time, if I must say. But, luckily I still knew how to buckle them the right way. As I fumbled a little with the buckle, a soft sigh escaped my mouth as I got it. There was a slight silence before my phone began to sing;
True friends lie underneath,
These witty words I don't believe
I can't believe a damn thing they say anymore
Lie! Liar, you'll pay for your sins
Now! Liar, I know all the places you've been.

I couldn't help but sing along, but then I realized it was still ringing. With a slight blush I looked over at Phyre. "Excuse me for a second." I quickly stepped aside,"Hello?" There was a long pause, and I almost hung up before a male voice came from the other end. "Hello Zoey."

I slid onto the bike and ten looked over at her curiously, her phone went off. I couldn't help my good earring and felt my rage begin to burn when a male voice replied to her. I could feel the heat of the hound rising up in my core and I had to take a deep breath to calm myself down a little. It's nothing, probably one of her friends, I have no right to be jealous, I mean I live with two men. I pulled my hair back out of my face and into a low ponytail as I waited.

I bit my bottom lip, my eyes focusing on the ground. "Z? Hey lovely, it's been awhile." I let out a soft growl. "What do you want Heath?" There was a deep chuckle on the other end, "Oh c'mon, don't act that way. We need to catch up sometime, maybe grab a drink?" I glanced over at the girl who waited for me, a soft smile tugging at my lips. I cleared my throat, "Well, I'll think about it." There was a pause before a sigh,"Okay Zoe, just don't forget." I shook my head,"I won't. Bye." With one quick movement I ended the call and walked over to the bike. I slid in behind her, scooting close and lasing my arms tightly around her waist. I hoped she didn't find this awkward..But that's what they always do in the movies..

"Okay hold on tight, don't be afraid to get close." I kick started the bike, and settled back against zoeys body, her frame pressed to my back, it was exciting being this close to her. The bike roared to life and I backed it out slowly, and then we were off, soaring down the road, towards the sandy beaches of our little coast side city. Fifteen minutes passed and I pulled into the little parking lot by the beach, the water calmly lapped at the sand shore, and a person or two were playing in te gentle salty waves, I pulled off my helmet and killed the bike, "how about a beach side picnic?"

I grinned as she told me not to be afraid to get close. And I did just that. I scooted closer as the bike came to life, giving me an exciting feeling. I felt my body hum with the bike as we road down the road, my body pressed close and firm against her. Fifteen minutes passed, but it felt like two seconds. I noticed the beach instantly, a grin spreading across my face. Seeing the people play carelessly in the water brought a happy feeling to my insides. As she turned off the bike, I slipped off my helmet. "Sounds amazing," I murmured softly in her ear, my eyes scanning the area.

Chills rose up on my arm whens she whispered into my ear. Hades this girl was too good for me. She smelled like heaven and with her so close to me, I didn't think that i'd be able to keep myself from at least kissing her today. I pulled my hair out of its confinement, and slipped the pony tail band around my wrist so that i wouldn't lose it. I climbed off my bike and offered a hand to help her off of the bike.
