Wolfspirit smiled. His white teeth showing. He never felt so happy.

Birchsong began to purr, thinking of her future in the clan, and soon fell asleep.

Wolfspirit smiled again and padded to the moss nest next to Birchsong and closed his eyes. He fell soundly asleep.

That night passed quickly, Birchsongs usual dreams of normal clan life, only this time, Wolfspirit was with her.

Wolfspirit dreamt of a world of nightmares. Where am i? He looked around seeing a limp body a few tail lengths away. Is it Ivyleaf no it cant. Padding closer, his anxiety came out it was Birchsong covered in blood. He lifted his paw. It was covered in blood and fur that looked identical to the she-cats pelt. What have i done?! He cried in his mind. Nightkit watched in terror. She growled and attacked him. Wolfspirit fell and kept falling into blackness. There was no end. He cried for help but the silence swallowed him up and his body was gone.

Birchsong was already awake, and shaking Wolfspirit.

Wolfspirit was gasping for breath waking up to reality. His head shot up forward. He was relieved to see that the she-cat was still alive. "Thank Starclan..." he whispered. "Are you ready to go?" the wolf warrior asked.

Birchsong nodded, stretching out her wings. She hadnt realised it yet, but her scratch had fully healed, the cobwebs fallen off.

Wolfspirit shook the moss off and got up. He shook his pelt like a wolf's."Alright lets head out..." his stomach growled. "Uh we will eat when we are half-way. OK?" He looked at the warrior.

She rolled her eyes and grinned. "Yes, mister wolf." She playfully batted his ear, her playfullness coming back to her.
