Finned otters were created as a scientific experiment: Project River Wolf. The goal was to create a species that could be used to guard bodies of water in the same way people have guard dogs. This resulted in a species of otter that was physically similar to a sea otter, but had much of the mentality of a giant otter and was larger than both. Due to the variety of genes used they developed abnormalities including horns on males, razor-sharp dorsal fins, and odd pelt colours. The project was deemed a failure as the species retained their fun-loving spirit and ultimately failed in their guardian role.

Princeling is an excitable, fun-loving otter. He enjoys being around friends, or at the very least good company, and is generally known as the life of the party (which also happens to be a running joke among his friends due to his storm-themed coat). He loves cracking jokes, even sometimes if they're on the meaner side, and can often be found grinning from ear to ear. He's rarely still for more than five minutes except when he's asleep, and that's just the way he likes it. The party never stops for Princeling, even when the energy levels of others are completely depleted.

Silence is almost exactly like his name,
literally, he rarely talks to others much,
and will only join in the conversation if
someone he knows is there, or if someone
he likes is there. Honestly, it's not like he
needs to speak much, he just shows how
he's feeling with his body language. Surprising,
he doesn't have a big temper, like a stormy
themed finned otter would have, and he'll
always be there for his few friends.

arrogant? oh yes, thor is indeed arrogant. he sees himself as a god, above others. he will make jokes at the expense of others, as well as never missing an opportunity to correct someone. but he carries himself in such a way that his arrogance is often overlooked as mere confidence.

thor finds everyday wonders fascinating. leaves making ripples on water, paw prints left behind, driftwood— he has a deep love for what others ignore. he always wants to know why things work and how. his curiosity is sometimes out of bounds though. let's just say he's lucky he's not a cat.

regardless of his attitude, thor is fiercely loyal to those he cares about. he has a mighty temper that sometimes can only be controlled by those close to him. if anyone hurts a friend or family member, they better start running because thor would go to any ends to please and help a friend in need.
