The Pariot took place in Tombersen only seven years after the discovery of the Pariahs.

Upon discovery, the Pariahs were feared for their inhuman abilities and caused great distress among the people. However, the continued peace over time led people to realize they could still trust the people around them with supernatural powers. Eventually laws were put into place to control the Pariahs and they were hardly more powerful than the regular population.

Until a group of rebellious teenage breakouts decided they were tired of being persecuted.
