Name: Aurora (The Strong One)
Age: 5 years
Gender: Female
Description: She is an average sized wolf for a female, but where she came from she was actually considered rather small. Her fur is white with areas of grey down her back and across her muzzle, like a permanent soot stain. Her paws are large, adapted for life in the snow, and her fur is thick to guard against the elements. Her eyes are a light amber color, and are a reflection of her inner thoughts.
Personality: Strong, reliant, independent, stubborn, protective, accepting, daring, adventurous, hot headed, dependable, slow to trust, emotionally guarded, confident, opinionated, decisive, determined, loyal.
History: Aurora comes from the far northern Canadian tundra, and was born into a very large warlike pack to the alpha pair. Technically the first born of the litter, it should have fallen on her to inherit her parents rank as alpha upon their death. However, she was the smallest of the litter of four and was not expected to survive the first few months of the harsh environment she was born into. Therefore, the inheritance fell to her larger second born brother.
Obviously everyone had been wrong, the small pup survived to grow into a lovely young adult, but that didn't stop her pack from continuing to second guess her all the way into adulthood.
When it came time for her to be trained to become a functioning member of the pack she was deemed to small to be a good hunter or warrior, so she was assigned to train under the packs aging healer. Dissatisfied, she rejected her chosen path and after a week of constant inquiry, she convinced a reluctant old warrior to train her. He became the first in the pack to believe in her, and through his approval a few other warriors would give her input and spar with her during her training.
Soon she surpassed her brother in her training, and after beating him once in a public sparing match was forbidden to spar with him further in fear of causing unrest and disloyalty to the heir in the pack. The victory over her much larger brother shocked the pack, and certainly did shift some opinions in her favor.
At the age of four the packs lead warrior decided to step down due to age and pushed her to take his place. She met little resistance from the other warriors but her father nearly forbade it until her brother stepped up and assured him he did not believe his sister would be a threat to his rank.
Not long after becoming lead warrior a loner joined her pack and quickly set his sights on her. She returned his attentions ten-fold, falling head over heels, only to find out he had not only been courting her, but also one of her sisters and the daughter of the betas, who would take their place upon their death along with her chosen mate. Heartbroken and feeling betrayed yet again she hardened herself and built a wall around her heart.
