Not many understand the comfort I get when I walk into a bookstore and take a deep breath as I look around. I feel at home; I feel welcome. I don't have to purchase anything. Being surrounded by books fills me with a sense of security.

Lucy seated herself at the table across from Evan, smiling at him happily. "So."
From across the restaurant, Evan was caught by someone's gaze. That someone was the one and only Lexa, the girl who had single-handedly ruined Evan and Lucy's relationship as teenagers. She smiled to herself wickedly and began to think of ways to get his attention.
