"In the end, as you
fade into the night,
who will tell the story
of your life? 'Cause it's
the end, and I'm not
afraid to die."
School was definitely something that Marceline hated with a passion. Drama, lies, tears.
Cheers to the teenage years. The blonde girl walked down the halls. Her long, almost
white hair was in two sloppy braids that reached the bottom of her rib cage. Oh how she
hated being in this school. People glared at her for no apparent reason, which made her
want to just leave, but she needed to graduate so she could get out of here and do some-
thing with her life. You see, everyone labeled Marceline as a 'goth.' Yeah, I know, she looks
like it. The outfit she wore today, which was black skinny jeans, a band tee, a pair of converse
and her makeup was dramatic as always, it made her fit into that category. She wasn't all
satanic or anything like that. Marceline was more of a happy girl than a depressed girl for sure.
Here eyes glanced around as she saw a bunch of preps and plastics heading to lunch. An eye roll
followed soon after the glance. The girl unlocked her locker and shoved her books inside, then
pulled on her black backpack. After closing the locker, she headed to lunch to find her friend, Scout.
Entering the lunch room was always the worst. Cliques were all together, and that meant that
the preps and plastics were reunited to do whatever they do best. An annoyed groan escaped
Marci's throat as she saw Fay, a plastic. The goth girl headed towards and empty table and sat
down, taking off her backpack and setting it on the table in front of her. She opened it up and
pulled out her sketch book and a granola bar for lunch. Marceline was one who really didn't care
what she ate, as long as she didn't eat too much. The girl snacked on the granola bar as she drew
happily. A few minutes later, she wanted music. Pulling out her cracked iPhone, she put in her
earbuds and turned up her music and listened happily as she drew and ate her whole grain granola
bar.
