"Hi, sweetheart." Kelly felt her warm face nuzzle into his shoulder, and held her tight, the familiar strawberry scent reaching his nose. He inhlaed deeply, enjoying the sweet smell of his amazing girlfriend. He let go, picking out the fluffiest and most delectable muffin for Star. "For you, my sweet." He smiled, looking at her beautiful coral eyes. /I'm so lucky./ Kelly thought blissfully.

Starfish drew back and accepted the muffin with cupped paws, looking not at the baked treat but rather at the emerald eyes of her boyfriend. /He called me "my sweet./ She would never get used to that, either; the words sent a thrill through her limbic system that made her want to dance around like a baby bean. /I'm so lucky,/ Starfish thought with a smile.

Kelly saw Star's eyes twinkle as she looked back at him, and knew he would never get used to the genuine reciprocation. "Do you want to sit down?" Kelly motioned towards the living room, heading for the cozy love seat. He loved her home, it was just so cozy and... Home-y. He enjoyed all the beach nick-knacks, and the pleasant scent of the rooms. It felt like a home as much as his shack does, if not more.

"Yeah, okay," she said eagerly, leading him over to the love seat. Her favorite thing in the world was to cuddle on that love seat with Kelly on a lovely morning by the beach. Having Kelly in the house was like a breath of fresh air from the outside, like bringing the sun into her little cave. It was almost possible to forget about the cramped indoors when she was with him.

Kelly plopped down, pulling Starfish down with him. She fell lightly next to him, and Kelly put an arm around her. He always had to have physical contact, assuring himself that his dream girl was really there with him. He took a bite of his chocolate chip and banana muffin, enjoying it's sweet taste and fluffy texture. He finished the bite and looked over, pecking Star on the cheek. "I love you."

Starfish nibbled at her blueberry muffin, enjoying the lightness and tart bursts of berry flavor in her mouth. She smiled as Kelly pecked her on the cheek and opened her mouth, about to say /I love you too/, when she decided against it and instead just turned her head, kissing Kelly full on the mouth.

He was a little surprised at first, but then put down his muffin, gently cupping her rosy cheeks in his hands. Being with Star was absolute bliss, but hated seeing her suffering so, locked up in this house. But all he could think about that the moment was her lips, and how hers interlocked perfectly with his.

Star drew away gently and smiled at Kelly, her heart full of warmth and love. This, too, never grew old; that someone was interested in her, that someone viewed her as more than just that weird bean in the house on the beach. She felt special; valued... important.

When Star looked back at Kelly, he finally realized how incredibly lucky he was, that fate brought them together; not everyone finds their true love, especially earlier in their life. "Oh, I brought you something, I found it on the beach." Kelly reached into his sack, pulling out a small, bright pink starfish in a container of water. "I thought you could put it in a bowl in your house, for a little bit of the beach."

"Oh!" Starfish smiled radiantly. "Kelly, it's lovely! I know just where we can put it." She realized that she hadn't yet shown Kelly her large aquarium downstairs. "Come with me," she chirped, taking his hand and pulling him off the love seat.
