Cloudkit went over to his Crowwing, his father, "Daddy, will I ever become an apprentice? What if they don't let me because of my vision?" he asked, in a miserable voice.

Juniperpaw hobbled into the kit den. "Hi, you guys!", she said to the kits. "How are you?"

Mudpelt heaved himself to his paws, snorting to himself as he looked back up at the sky.

Oakkpaw trailed to the apprentices den.

Wolfpaw put his paws on his head. His head throbbed because of the pain he did to everyone. He started crying again. Ill never ever forgive myself. I'll never be in love with anybody and I won't care for anyone but the clan and myself! He started crying harder at his decision but it was for the best.

He got up and padded to the fresh-kill pile and picked out a squirrel. He carried it to Juniperpaw. "Do you want this? I don't feel like eating." He dropped it and moved it closer to Juniperpaw.

"Thank you", she said in a small voice. She eyed her uneaten piece of prey from Crowwing, but she didn't want to turn down the piece she had just gotten. She couldn't hide the fact that she didn't completely trust Wolfpaw, no matter how much he tried. She wanted to be friends with him and she wanted to trust him but she couldn't. She sighed, "Do you think I'll ever become a warrior?", she asked him.

Wolfpaw was surprised at her question."Of Course!" He mewed
"Look I know you don't like me because I killed your friend but I'm sorry. But that's a mistake I made."
