Yara set the she-wolf down, dipping his head to her. He would have to bury her, it was only what she deserved. Luke's oice caught his attention, he lowered his head and licked the pup's head. "Luke, where is Roan, Josie and Maine?"

Josie bounded up to her mother again, rubbing herself, in a very feline way, on her mother's back legs then turning to face the angry wolves. "HAIII!" She sniffed them from the comfort of under Chako. This would be interesting...

"I'm warning you once. You touch my daughter, and I'll skin you alive and use your pets for bedding!"

One of the wolves licked his lips, staring at Josie. He took a small step closer, his gaze switching to Chako. "Smells good eh boys." He started laughing, saliva dropping from his open jaws.

"I don't know!" Luke looked round, confused. Where were they?..

"Another one for the hole in a few minutes!" Another one of the wolves laughed. "Stupid kid."

Josie barked at them, baring her puppy fangs. "You stay away from me! Meanies!" Her ears flicked back, her fur bristling with anger. "You don't want to hurt me... My mummy and daddy will kill you!" She looked up at Chako, smiling.

Ink JR jumped out from behind a bush and stood in front of Josie and Chako. "Don't you dare..." He snarled angrily.
"Oh look, isn't that cute? It's a stupid wittle puppy trying to pwotect his fwiends!" Another wolf laughed.

Josie pulled InkJr back by his tail, growling at him. "Inkie no! Let my mumma do it." She looked up at Chako, whining. She wasn't as brave as she thought...

"No." Ink growled. He kicked Josie in the face and stood in front of her again. "You killed your own leader..." He snarled.
"And now we're going to kill you." The wolves grinned and advanced on the pup with their fangs bared.
Ink didn't move, he was very stubborn like his grandfather.

Dark stepped in and stood next to his grandson, growling at the wolves. "You lot should be ashamed..."

Tiga stepped in front of them all, snarling. "This was my fight. Leave me to it."

"We don't need to fight. I am prepared to die, but there is no cause for which I am prepared to kill. I'll never believe that war is the best solution. No one won the last war and no one will win the next." Ink growled. "We have to put an end to all this fighting, or it will put an end to us first...I've never had to kill anyone to get anywhere and neither do you guys!"
