Ravenpaw blinks, looking over at Viperstar curiously as he announced his idea. Makes sense...but i just have a bad feeling about it... He thinks to himself, frowning slightly. Something didnt feel right, like it was a bad idea. He ponders that for a moment before shaking his head. Im just being paranoid again... He thinks to himself in annoyance.

Nightshade frowns a bit as the cats were announced. Not picked huh...? Should have known seeing as i am still a bit of a stranger here... The jet black she-cat thinks to herself. She knew a bit about gatherings, and it didnt sound like something she would be interested in anyways, so just kinda shrugged it off. Her eyes are slightly narrowed, as she feels the fur along her hackles rising a bit, which usually meant danger. Her instincts were rarely wrong, which did send a spike of worry through her.

Viperstar then looked around, "and we'll send out two patrols now, one to patrol the east border and one to patrol the southern border. I'll lead the southern one, past the clearing, and Moongaze will lead the other around the Great Hill. Nightshade, Dovepool and Ravenpaw, you can come with me." His eyes flickered over the warriors. "Dustcloud, Snowspirit and Talonwind, you go with Moongaze. Fishpool will guard the camp with the rest of you. Any sign of trouble and send Coldpaw out to find us." He jumped off the highrock and walked over to the southern exit of the clan, through a thick gorse bush. He awaited the other cats to join him.

Fishpool nodded her head to her uncle, before situating herself outside the queens den, her eyes flashing around camp, taking in everything.

Sunstorm trotted back towards the queens den, and laid down next to her friend Fishpool in the afternoon sun.

Skystream hadn't been chosen to go on anywhere, so she sat down huffily in the shade of a tree.

Dustcloud trotted over to Moongaze. "You ready to go?" He glanced at Moongaze's leg. He hoped it wouldn't slow them down, and he hoped the other two cats wouldn't say anything about it.

Ravenpaw looks over at Viperstar as his name was called to go on the patrol. His eyes widen a bit, as he had no training yet, and he couldnt help but be a little worried. Sure, he has seen the new warriors play fight from his place in the nursery, but he has never really tried himself. He puts on a brave face though, knowing that the warriors wouldnt let anyone him get too hurt on his first patrol if anything happened.

Nightshade looks up as her name was called for patrol. With a dip of her head, she gets to her paws, walking over towards the Leader and the newly made apprentice. Her ears are perked and alert, and she was ready to run.

Badgermask nodded simply, rather honored he'd be sent. He would make certain to pay his respects to the lost clans. He then got to his paws and glanced around at the warriors around who were about to head off on patrol. He received a lick on the shoulder from his sister and made his way to have a quick camp check up.

Coldpaw looked up when his name was said before he smiled to himself, He'd be glad to help and padded off to the medicine cat den to see which herbs he had in stock.

Viperstar glanced at his new apprentice. He could see a little bit of worry in the poor tom's eye, so Viperstar bent his head slightly and whispered, "We're going to have to run, so make sure you stay inbetween me and Nightshade. Don't worry, you won't get hurt. You'll be able to keep up, we won't go too fast. I'm only taking you out because I want to see what you can do." Viperstar saw Badgermask leaving. "Be careful!" He called out.

BladeFire shook his pelt and watched as the other cats seemed to be busy doing there duties.

MoonGaze smiled slightly as he looked up, he nodded "of course" he said standing up trying to look strong on his three legs so he wouldn't worry the other warriors going on the patrol that he was going to be slow.

Ravenpaw jumps a bit as Viperstar suddenly starts speaking to him. He listens carefully, before nodding his head once. "Alright... I will do the best i can!" He promises, looking up at Viperstar, before gazing over at Nightshade as the she-cat joins them. He could tell that this cat wasnt shy to battles, seeing scars running across her fur.

Nightshade nods slightly at Viperstar, having heard what he said. That meant she couldnt go full speed, but that didnt matter. If things started to get ugly, she would carry Ravenpaw if she had to. "Sounds good with me," she replies calmly, choosing to ignore the young toms stares. Her blue gaze drifts across the camp, looking for their final member.

Badgermask called back over his shoulder "I'll be right near camp don't you worry." He then set off on his own, just checking around to see what was new, if anything.
