Under the profile page, select snapshot 14w06b. It should then install and you can play it!

Does anyone know how to download mods? It says on the title screen that I have the mo creatures loaded, but it doesn't work. I'v tried magic launcher and tons of you tube videos, but i can't do it. Any ideas? I really want the web displays mod, but when I put in the folder my minecraft crashes. I'm using 1.7.2 forge profile and everything, but nothing works. Thanks in advance.

Here's a step by step guide, hopefully it helps cx

1. Download MC Forge 1.7.4- Make sure you get the one that says installer!
2. Once the installer is downloaded, double click it. Something should pop up.
3. Click install
4. Once it is finished installing, make a new folder in .minecraft titled mods.
5. Just drop all your mods in the mods folder and run MC! Make sure the mods are forge mods and are for 1.7.4

I've done this (pops out of the blue) but which section do you install-the server or otherwise? It says I cant do the "server" one as it says I must run it at least once...

Actually, on your Minecraft launcher! (that first thing that opens, where you click "Play" on the bottom) There should be a Edit Profile button on the bottom by your name, click there, a window will open, then check "Enable experimental development versions ("snapshots")". Once done with that, click "New Profile" under your name, name the profile whatever you want (I normally name them after what version they are), then near the bottom of the pop up window there should be "Use version:". From there, select the version you want to play on. This also works for older versions of Minecraft as well as the snapshots (all the way back to alpha!)

What mob do you like the best? Why?

I really like spiders (not the cave ones though), I find that they're really easy to kill and whenever I see one I leap at the opportunity to kill it and gather their string, which I often need a lot of and find very useful.

I also LOVE bats, they're useless creatures but the most adorable little guys! Whenever I find them in caves I feel less alone and they're just too cute. C:

And whenever I find wolves or horses I try to tame them just incase I may need them.

I agree with the bat thing! Omg they are too cute. <33 I was in a cave yesterday with one.
But then it just flew down
Straight into the lava.
The lava was on the FLOOR.
Do they have any sense of direction? XD

I am a ghast lover.
Like, omg. Just, just ghast.
That's all I have to say.
Before I even played MC, when I had only watched You Tube videos about it, I loved ghasts. I wanted to play Mine Craft because of ghasts.
Why?
They're like, deadly evil giant floating jellyfish that spit fireballs at people.
BUT I LOVE THEM.
Did you know ghast noises are actually cat sounds played backwards?
Oh I just love ghasts.
I also feel bad for them. That sounds strange because it's just MC, but I do feel bad for them. They never stop crying. That's why they drop tears when they die. D=
The first time I got a Nether portal built I was so excited because I would get to meet a ghast! As soon as I entered the portal there were three ghasts at the entrance and they killed me instantly.
I was sitting there screaming at the XBox.
"NO STAHP KILLING MEEE!! I WANTED TOBE YOUR FRIEND! NOOO! I WANT TO HELP YOU!"
After that I collected some ghast tears, went to the "real" world, dug a hole in the ground, burried the ghast tears, and had a ghast funeral.
