Why should you be able to adopt a newbie?:
I hardly want to sound greedy, describing it in that context. But I would feel honored to be assigned a newbie to show around for many reasons. Maybe the most important would be that I have seen many improperly 'brought up', per se, players around the forums being rather rude, and if I can help it, I'd like to try and help the newer members know what not to do to become one of those people. Also, I have plenty of time to be helping out others, as I love to do it anyhow; I hop on CS and fanfiction.net every free moment I have, and as of late I have primarily been just milling around, exploring threads that I already have memorized by heart, knowing that I could be doing more important things around the site. I can be a bit sassy, but most of the time, I am a sort of "mother hen" for my friends, and I have helped out a few newbies before behaving in this manner.

How often do you get on CS?:
Like I have mentioned, I am on when I can get to computer. That calculates to every day for maybe 5-6 hours at most, but the bare minimum for me is about 3 hours.

Which categories would you like to apply for?:
I would definitely be capable to work with newbies that are challenged with:
General Knowledge
Forums
And Roleplaying

How long do you typically spend on CS each day you get on?:
Whoops, I keep overexplaining! XD But as I have stated above, my bare minimum for a day is 3 hours, and the max is about 5-6.

Do you agree to be helpful and polite to your newbie at all times?:
Why, yes! I try to be as kind as possible on here, and I know that many newer members may not be used to so many people just on the computer, like how CS has thousands of members. I know that when I first started, I was positive that many in the community were going to make fun of me if I didn't do something right, but of course I was proven wrong! I was welcomed with open arms, which I am very grateful for, and I hope to be able to return the favor and help out a few newbies myself! <3

➳ Snow, realizing that she had drifted off into thought in the middle of the makeshift form, came back to and quickly sashayed back to the bed, setting the supposedly top covers over the rest properly and tidily. She stepped back for a moment and felt satisfied with that as she took it in. She then headed for the opening flaps, turning around with one sweep. Stepping lightly, she opened them, looking out into the small clearing of the camp. There were a few people out by the stone fire pit, speaking quietly, but otherwise the camp was empty, or so it seemed. A majority of the population would probably be out already. As she stepped out into the dirt and grass-patched expanse, she kept a hand behind her on the larger side of the opening, using little force to move it over the other until she was sure that it was secured over the other, to which she pulled it away. She dropped her eyes to the ground as she started making her way across the clearing. It should have been brighter for this time of the morning, but the cloudy weather of the mid-morning was counteracting the sunlight, along with the canopy of trees, and there weren't many manmade lights down the stretch.

After a few moments' time, she ended up in the middle of camp, right next to the fire pit. But as she had walked over to it prior, she took in a pleasant smell of baking bread and smiled. How was one expected to get anything done on an empty stomach? As she stopped she saw that the fire pit was barren but at the last minute noticed a small flame embedded into it. A waft of steam poured over a large bucket of water on top of the fire as she found the camp's volunteer cook, a later-aged blonde of a woman, standing over it, stirring something forcibly and rather busily in it. The younger woman ended up at her side before long and looked to her, finding tire on her face. She tapped her shoulder and, upon the cook turning, she found herself smiling. "Calm down," she voiced low enough to keep a one on one conversation with the other soldiers just adjacent to her. "There's no hurry." She glanced down into the kettle for a moment as the cook nodded out of courtesy. "If I may ask, though, would you mind sending some of that soup my way when it is finished? It looks great," she mused, dismissing the woman silently but politely, feeling her mood lighten a bit at the older woman's smile. With that, she stepped to the side of the log and took a seat, only for the moment, in front of the cool side of the ashen pit.

Lauren got up from the seat she was sitting on. She took in her surroundings and breathed in the salty air. She had just come back from a short trip to London and was ready to start school again. She had only been back for a couple of days but was missing London already. The ship never ceased to amaze her; beautiful places, wonderful sea, interesting people from all over the world, effective schooling and great facilities made the school unique and a great place to learn. Lauren especially liked the smoothie bar; which she was quite close to. She was also very thirsty so she scooped up her kitten, Bob and walked towards the smoothie bar, smiling at the visitors on board.

When she reached the smoothie bar, she stood at the back of the relatively short queue and waited for her turn; petting Bob and tapping her foot. At the front of the line, she smiled and ordered a strawberry smoothie. Bob leaped out of her arms and ran towards the chairs near the smoothie bar. Bob had never been on the ship before so he was unfamiliar with everything. Lauren's eyes widened and she quickly grabbed her smoothie and rushed towards the seats. She set her smoothie on a table near a boy who looked a few years older than her (Lincoln) and scooped up Bob. She kept him in her arms and sat down. "I'm sorry about that, Bob is really friendly." She said to the boy "Are you here for the school as well?" She continued.
