Alli then caught the scent of something bad. The dog began growling as the hair on her back bristled. "The dog catcher come on!" she yelled as she sprinted down the alley and followed the scent.

Alli saw the dog catcher near scout which angered her. She ran like a bullet and bit the human's leg ripping a part of his pants. She grabbed onto his pants and began pulling backwards ripping more of the pants.

Lavender growled again. "I'm not leaving you!" She told Scout.

Scout snarled at the man. " Alli, get her out of here.. Please!" He added, not wanting either of them to get hurt. " go back to the camp, get help!"

Lavender growled but didn't get close enough to the dog catcher.

Alli nodded biting him one more time she then ran to Lavender. At that moment the dog catcher grabbed Alli's tail and pulled on it causing her to yelp loudly. Zeak lifted his head hearing the dogs yelp. He knew it was Alli so he got uo and sprinted towards the yelp. Chief saw Zeak leaving so he ran after him. "Where you going Zeak?" he asked. "I heard my sister yelp. I promised my mom I would keep her safe and and thats what im gonna do." he said as the two ran towards town.

Scout snarled and but hard into the mans hand so he would let go. " run!" He shouted, his teeth still gripping the hand

"Come on Lavender we have to get out of here." Alli said to the dog. Zeak and Chief reached the town and saw Scout biting the dog catchers hand. "Alli! Are you okay?" he asked running to her. Chief followed and saw River. He looked down a little then ran to Alli. "I'm fine we got to get Lavender and Scout out of here." Alli said.

Scout let go of the mans hand as he wrapped the wire collar around his neck. Scout snarled loudly, trying to writhe free of the device as he was being pulled into the truck. Suddenly the man struck him with a needle, and scouts world started to fade. That last thing he remembered was being lifted, and the sound of a car starting and driving away
