"You really love to cover yourself in food, don't you?" Gray chuckled as she picked up the empty bag, crumbling it under her tight grasp. After staring at it for a moment, she tossed it aside, letting it flutter to the ground. "I'm starting to wonder if you think you're a dinner plate or something."

Eli shrugged as he picked pieces off his chest and popped them in his mouth. "Yup, but at least now you wont wanna eat this jerky. At least I think you dont.." he raised a brow and glanced up at her.

Gray shook her head. "Nah, still is in edible condition for me. The problem is, I don't quite know how to get it. I think you might cut my hands off with something if I even try. I kind of like having hands, though, so it might not be completely worth it."

Eli smirked and pat his pocket, where he had a large hunting knife. "Yeah.. I doubt you'd get away without an injury if you tried takin' my jerky," he shoved a couple chunks in his mouth before standing up and brushing off his hands and chest.

Gray couldn't help but feel a slight bit of remorse. I could've gone without knowing a name. And eaten that jerky. Happily, too. Now I'm just upset. This sucks. "I probably could've figured something out if I had tried. And I would've walked away with both my hands."

Eli rolled his eyes, "Too late now." he smirked and looked around, letting out an exasperated sigh. "Im bored.."

"That's a shame..." Gray sighed as she folded her arms behind her head, falling back until she was laying down on the ground, looking up. "There isn't much to do, though. Nobody's here..." She muttered under her breath, shutting her eyes while she exhaled slowly.

"No, I thought everyone was here," Elijah said sarcastically. Huffing, he plopped down on the ground and pulled the grass before tossing it in her hair.

"Oh, well then I've got news for you, buddy." Gray snorted, watching as the blades of grass fell into her hair, her eyes straining to see up that far. "What did you do that for?" She asked, putting on a halfhearted lopsided grin, her eyebrows slightly pinched in confusion.

Eli shrugged, "For making me bored." he yawned and stretched until he heard a crack in his spine, letting out a long breath. "You're boring, ya know that?"
