Gray frowned, a frustrated groan coming from her throat. "Then what is it? Just tell me, I hate guessing games. Almost as much as I hate waiting. There are only so many names that start with the letter 'E' that I know of."

"I'll tell you if... you give me the rest of that jerky," Eli shrugged and leaned back a little more, closing his eyes briefly.

A cold chill settled on her spine. She looked down at the jerky before looking back over at him. I can... always get more... Right? It's just across the street. Oh man, my pride hurts. It hurts so bad. I think I'm dying... Or at least part of my self-esteem is. "Fine." She said slowly, her voice stiff. "But you have to tell me your name first, and if I find out you lie about it, I will slit your stomach open and take my jerky back." She grabbed the bag and held it out, her fingers tightly wrapped around it to prevent him from snatching it out of her grasp. God, it hurts so much. Please, just kill me. I can't take it!

"Give it to me first," Eli smirked and held out his hands. He waved his arm around, his eyes closed as he smirked. "C'mon, gimmie it or I wont tell."

Gray pursed her lips together, her jaw tense. She hesitated a moment before shaking her head. "No way, dude. You tell me your name first, and this bag is all yours. I won't even touch it. But there's no way I'm handing it over first."

Elijah crossed his arms over his chest and huffed, "Elijah..." he mumbled quietly, his voice barely audible. He leaned forwardand outstretched his arms, "Now gimmie it!"

"Elijah, huh?" Gray repeated. "...Alright, fine." She reluctantly tossed the bag out of her hand towards him, not happy to see it go. "I'm not quite sure if that trade was fair or not..." She grumbled, feeling defeated, which was not her favorite thing in the world.

Elijah smirked and shrugged, opening the bag. "Or Eli is fine," he added before stuffing a piece in his mouth and leaning back.

"That's nice..." Gray grumbled, glaring at the bag itself, as if it had betrayed her in some way. "You know, I don't normally wish for bad luck to happen to people, but I think some good old fashion food poisoning could really do you some good." She muttered, looking away from the bag. "No offense, or anything, though." She added with a quick laugh at the end.

Eli snorted and dumped the jerky out on himself before flinging the empty bag at her. "Its a good thing you dont have any poison... he muttered, pausing before adding, "Except for that little package of poison stuff that keeps the bag fresh.." he added to himself, quietly, looking at the bag that was next to her. He shrugged and put another piece in his mouth.
