Marceline chuckled. "You know I do it in the nicest way possible, Gumball!" she retorted, still grinning. She adored teasing him, and she honestly didn't care if he hated it. He was still friends with her after all of it, wasn't he?
She went back to messing with his hair, but not messing it up too much. She glanced between Elliott and Marsh, laughing at Gummy's comment. "Mm- looks like they're super mad at each other. Lee might get mad, I am sorta actiing like your fangirl."

Elliott heard the end tail of the conversation. That's how he sees me? Elliot I
stantly changed seats. He moved to the corner, dragging his bag with him. Sure, Elliott liked Benjamin, but fanboy? Seriously? Right as he got settled one of.the assistant principles came in and said, "I'm afraid your teacher has called in sick. You'll just.have to stay in here til the end of the period. If you need anything my office.is around the corner." Elliott sighed. He started working on his essay for art history.

Benjamin sighed. "Sure, Marceline, sure. And Marshall won't get mad at you, you didn't block his seat. In fact, you never do, 'cuz you're never here to get seat pick anyways!" He joked, poking Marceline in the stomach. Then he noticed that Elliot had moved away, and looked a bit dejected. "Oh crud... I hope I didn't offend him, I was just messing around..." Then Ben heard the announcement, and grinned half-heartedly. "Free period, though... Anything could happen!" He said, standing up and stretching.

Elliott looked over at the others and grimaced. He just wanted this day to be over all ready. He had already unintentionally picked a fight with the co-leader of his sisters group and had made his best friend think he was a fanboy. He watched his sister get torn between a normal relationship with her best friend and a practically impossible romantic one. He loved his sister, And he worried for her sometimes.

Marshall couldn't help but feel a little satisfied as Elliot moved away after seeing the death glare. A little grin played on his lips, and he looked back down at his paper. He'd scribbled some sort of skull, certainly something he'd do in class instead of taking notes. As the vice principal came in to the room and announced their teacher being absent, he swung up his legs to rest them against the top of the desk, hands behind his head, scooting down in his seat, and closed his crimson eyes. Sleeping sounded nice after waking up so early this morning. Marsh would probably eventually move up beside Gumgum and play with him for a bit with Marcy.

Elliott could see the tense levels drop in the back. Good then. He'd dodged the bullet then. Elliott had learned not to mess with Marsh before. Part of the reason he doesn't go on adventues anymore. Marshall pretty much terrified him. Which had earned him the nickname Luigi. Ellyon didn't seem to see it. Or maybe.she trusted in her own abilities more. The Young family always seemed.to but it always ends horribly for them. Elliott doesn't though.And againsst either of the Abadeers, hknows he'd have to be lucky to make it. But Ellyon has stronger 'magic, than him..

Benjamin sat down, looked around the classroom, and sighed. Marshall, at the very least, seemed to have calmed down, which was great. Whenever Marshall got angry... Well, you didn't want to be in the same building as him, let alone the same room. Scary thought. Ben shook his head though. He looked over at Elliott, who still seemed pretty down. Unfortunately, Benjamin couldn't think of a way to cheer him up just yet, so Ben decided to let the boy be. After all, Elliot would be back to normal soon enough, right? ... Right?

After what seemed like ages, the bell rang. Elliott dashed for the door as fast as he could and rushed to Ellyon's locker as hers was next to Biology. Elliott tried to explain. "Elly. Please. Can you do something? Marsh is going to kill me!?!" Elliott knew him sister was on much better terms with the vampire-like boy. He felt a shiver go up his spine. He looked behind him, and flipped. Did Marsh have wall hacks? Then he remembered. Elly had Biology with Marsh. Oh.

Ellyon waved at her friend, then gave her brother the death stare. Elly was not about to risk a fight between her best friend and brother. She said, "I've got class."

Marshall had only managed a light snooze before the bell rang. He opened one eye, gave a sigh, then hauled himself to his feet. Grabbing his back, he walked over to where Ben sat and ruffled his hair in a friendly way, knowing the other teen hated it. "Hey, Gummie, what's your next class?" he asked, sharp canines flashing as he spoke. Now, he would never explain to anyone why his teeth where sharp nor why his eyes where a reddish color. It was a sensitive topic that was only shared between him and his sister.

Elly ducked her head in. "Yo Marshowitz, Biology. We're dissecting frogs. You going to grace us with your presence?" Ellyon was excited. She always looked forward to the weird gross projects. She knew Marshall did too, and so, in order to get him to come to class, would always put special emphasis on the gory things they did or were going to talk about. She saw him talking to Ben, and trying to avoid an argument, "I will see you there. Can't wait anymore." Frog dissection. Yay!

Elliott was sitting at his desk in English waiting for the class to start. The teacher was standing by the door like a sentry, watching the clock. He was worse the the Schweetzes. He closed that door on the millisecond.
