Talking rainbow impossible animal hybrids with wings that couldn't let them fly and hobbies like painting despite not being anthro or having thumbs is not only common but the norm and rarely complained about. :P Honestly I don't think constantly-bleeding characters are any more of a stretch. The whole thing is suspension of disbelief - if this was meant to be a serious story someone was writing, sure. But I dare say most if not all characters aren't serious and are just for fun so I'm not sure why it's a big deal if there's not a scientifically sound explanation for them, especially when there are other blatantly inaccurate things that don't get mentioned. And I absolutely adore science, but with the whole character thing it just doesn't matter. Heck, I'm not sure I've ever seen an animal character that makes perfect sense on here.
Idk, it just kind of bugs me that so many people are like with gore but don't demand an explanation for characters with blue eyes when they don't make sense or the hundreds of other discrepancies.
