She drummed her fingers on the ground lightly. That name rung a bell from somewhere. "What do you know about them?" She asked the girl, hoping she didn't notice she hadn't answered her question. She glanced at her co workers, they were examining the bodies.

Alice nodded, "yes. The Varids are a group that kill or experement on people who they think are sick. Or in this case,diffrent. So you know them?" she asked trying to get an answer.

She remembered where she had heard that name before as the girl told her. There had been quite a few cases, mostly murder where their name had been mentioned. "Yes I have." She told the girl, standing up. She got out her phone, quickly sending a message to a friend.

"I'm a doctor, yes." He replied, confused. He looked around before pacing up and down the hall. "Can I ask who this is?" He asked the speaker, trying to be polite. It was an girl, American judging her accent. He wondered how she knew his number, he'd had enough calls off unknown numbers for his liking. He glanced around agin, looking for Sherlock. He'd better not have got himself stuck in the dumbwaiter.

"I don't really know. I had walked outside for a bit and when I came in there he was lying almost dead in the hallway. I checked to see if he was still alive and since he was I brought him up here so I could take care of him while I waited for a doctor. I am so glad you are finally here. He was saying something about some strange men or something earlyer but I told him to calm down because he was hurting himself by talking," Rekania told the doctor then said, "I'm sorry I forgot to tell you my name. I am Rekania LeafPond and who are you?" she asked him.

"I'm John Watson." He replied, looking around. Seeing no sign of Sherlock, he decided to just go. He couldn't ignore this, the boy might die. "I'm on my way." He told her down the phone, walking out of the hotel. "Erm, where are you?" He asked, hailing a cab.

"What kind of doctor leaves a dying boy! I can't believe you! You so mean!" She screamed after John. She was extremely angry at him. All she could do was help the boy by herself. She grabbed her first aid kit and started bandaging the boys head. "Okay mister stuipid doctor who doesn't care if a young man is about to die if you don't help. I guess I'll have to do this on my own," she mumbled to herself angrily.

Rekania put down the phone. "Don't worry young man. The doctor is on his way," she said to the unconscious boy.
