Elliott stood at the bus stop watching the hill for the bus. As he waited for the schoolbus to come, he looked over at his sister, and looked at her iPod. Showtunes. Of course. He rolled his eyes and put his own headphones in his ears. Escaping to the peace that Linkin Park of all things gave him, he stepped on to the bus after helping his sister up.

Ellyon watched the clock in the corner of her classic ipod. 7:28. 7:29. Finally. The bus. The small town had about six buses constantly in rotation. They lugged kids to and from school, to games and events and shows galore. Elly herself would be having a chess tournament on the weekend. As the introduction to Cinderella began, she was already in her seat, looking around at the seats around her, then waved at Marshowitz. She mouthed, "Hey."

Cece boarded her bus with a groan. High school was lame, the only good thing about going to high school instead of middle school was that all her older friends were there. Not too many people were on the bus yet, hers was one of the first stops for this bus... She took her usual seat, the seat right in front of the furthest back one, on the right side. It was her seat, no one took it, even if she was absent. Her brother, Kenneth, took a seat somewhere on the bus, but Cece didn't pay attention where... They never got along terribly well.

Benjamin sat at the bus stop, waiting patiently for it to show up. It seemed to be running late today, it was thirty seconds after the usual time, and he couldn't hear it yet. He sighed heavily, and realized he was being impatient... Oh well. It wasn't his fault he liked things to be correct. His sister was at home, sick, so he didn't have anyone to complain about the late bus to. After a few minutes, though, he heard the bus round the corner, exactly 2 minutes and 45 seconds late. Benjamin got onto the bus and sat down, not mentioning the lateness to the bus driver, because the last time he had... Well, it didn't turn out too well. Benjamin didn't talk to the driver anymore, at all.

Elliott sat down next to Ben, as he noticed his sister wasn't there today. He elbowed him lightly and said, "Hey." Elliott liked Benjamin. They had a lot in common. He was however, a little less precise then Ben, but Elliott didn't find this a bad thing. He pulled his tie to straighten it out. While the students of Clearwater High weren't required to wear the uniform, Elliot liked to as it looked nice and was sure to earn him points with the higher-up rungs of the school echeladder.

Benjamin looked over, and saw Elliot sitting down next to him. "Oh, hello Elliot. Would you like any help with your tie?" He asked, noticing the slightly younger boy trying to straighten it. Elliot liked to cling to Benjamin a lot, which wasn't necessarily a bad thing, but it did get a little annoying sometimes. Today, however, he was grateful for the company.

(may I ask you guys if you know what Marshal's real eyecolor is? I'd rather have it something other than dark brown)

Marshall had been sitting on the bus for a while, his backpack thrown on the seat next to him so no other teens would sit there. If they attempted to, the boy would throw them a glare and watch them scamper off to find another spot. He didn't let anyone sit next to him but his few friends, and he liked it that way. As Ben came onto the bus, a smile flickered over his lips. Marshall quickly stood and grabbed his bag, sliding into the seat beside Benjamin's, since Elliot managed to nab the spot next to him before Marshall could get there. "Hey, Gumgum. Bus drivers slacking today, isn't he?"

Benjamin rolled his eyes as Marshall sat near him. "I told you, I don't like that nickname! If you want to call me something other than Benjamin, at least call me Ben!" He said, but he was grinning. They were buddies, and Benjamin didn't really mind the nickname. It was an old inside joke, how could he ever let it die? But, he always had to protest, if only to keep his 'stiff' image. "And yeah, I noticed... 2 minutes and 45 seconds late, how does the school system let them get away with this? Students cannot catch the bus if the times are fluid."

"Gumball is much cuter than Benjamin, come on." Marshall joked with a grin, propping his legs up on the seat in front of him, setting the bag on the floor. "don't get your panties in a twist, Gummy. Hey, if you have any complaints, why don't you go talk to your good old buddy mister bus driver up there? Bet he'll be happy with you correcting his work again."his red eyes flickered with humor, knowing that Ben had a bad relationship with the bus driver from last time he'd talked to him about being late. It was a funny story Marshall enjoyed teasing him about.

Benjamin rolled his eyes. "Come on, I'm not trying to be cute, you're the only one who thinks that anyways..." Benjamin crossed his arms and pouted jokingly. "Don't even get me started on that bus driver, I swear he's evil... I can probably find some proof of it, too!" He said, leaning across Elliot toward Marshall. "Don't even joke about that... It was a traumatic experience... Walking to school is not fun at any time, but especially not when the bus is right behind you, revving its engines..." Benjamin sat back down in seat again, shuddering slightly. He didn't like to think about that day...

• P e r s o n a l i t y : Very intelligent and compassionate. She has a strange affinity for teenagers, and can't help but want to help them
  
• H i s t o r y : No one really knows, as far as any of the students, and most of the staff, can remember, she's been the librarian, dutiful and committed, since Peter Lessman left the position over a decade ago. She runs it herself, trusting the help of students far more than the constant stream of forced assistants the district keeps sending her.

Elliot blinked and after fiddling with it for a few moments he gave up."Yeah. Thanks." Elliott would have asked E.J. but after he saw her putting on makeup, he kind of figured she had more important things to do. He saw Marsh and looked over at Ellyon, but didn't say anything. He knew she didn't. want him too. Recently, Ellyon and the others had gone on a trip. Elly had come back acting strange, but Elliott didn't know why. He had, as usual, stayed behind.
