Wolfkit jumped up and ran to the Highrock. His apprentice ceremony! He walked side by side with Mistykit and Lightkit (for right now since we are just becoming apprentices)

Echoflash glided down from the tree branch and landed beneath the High Rock. She watched as Rosekit and Silverkit raced over chattering about something or other.

"Someday soon this will be us." Silverkit whispered to Rosekit.

"I know! I'm really excited for that day too!" She cried softly back. The two looked up at the High Rock and awaited Moonstar's announcement.

Wolfkit trembles with excitement.

"Wolfkit,Mistykit and Lightkit you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Wolfpaw,Mistypaw and Lightpaw.Wolfpaw your mentor will be me,Mistypaw your mentor will be Emberclaw. I hope Emberclaw will pass down all he knows on to you.",''Lightpaw your mentor will be Echoflash. I also hope she will pass down what she know down to you."Echoflash and Emberclaw''Moonstar beckoned, ''You's are ready to take on an apprentices. You had received excellent training from your mentors, and you have shown yourself to be clever in bad sitoutions and brave. You's will be the mentor of Lightpaw and Mistypaw, and I expect you's will pass on all you know to them."

She smiled, but then realized something: She didn't have any wings, even the kits did, but she didn't. She thought about this as she watched the ceremony.

Moonstar touched each of the new apprentices on the head with her nose,they each began to glow and when they had stopped their chibi wings were replaced by their new set of wings,''Wolfpaw!Mistypaw!Lightpaw''

Wolfpaw was shocked that Moonstar chose him to be her apprentice. She usually chose the deputy's kits or a kit that was special. He looked at Juniper the loner. She looked like she had concern in her eyes. Was she thinking about that we have wing and she didn't? He felt Moonstar put her nose gently on his head and glowed brighter than the sun and got new pairs of wings.
