Echoflash looked up at the sky above her. She smiled and passed by the two kits, Silverkit and Rosekit, wordlessly. Her golden eyes sparkled brightly as she walked through the sunlit clearing. She spread her white wings and lifted up into the air, until she reached a strong tree branch, from there she watched for prey in both the sky and on the ground.

Meanwhile, Rosekit and Silverkit watched as Echoflash passed. "Why is she always so quiet Rose?" Silverkit asked, using the names they only allowed each other to use.

"No clue Silver. Why do people question when we don't add that bothersome suffix?" She asked her brother. "As kits and apprentices we'll have the same ending for our names so why use them?" Silverkit shrugged, he didn't get it either.
