The Winged Silken Shepherd (WSS) is a fairly new breed of drover (herding dog) developed in the rolling hills of Waltson, where the main source of hide, leather, and meat is the Waltson Sheep, a fairly intelligent animal that was difficult to herd or pen until these small, quick dogs were introduced. WSS are named for their wing-like ears, and their odd habit of "flapping" their ears. As they were bred primarilly for being intelligent, long winded, and loyal- very little attention was payed to color. After many breeds were mixed in (including border collie, sheltie, corgi, and others) a wide variety of colors and markings are possible (though not all are accepted).
Here you can adopt puppies and grown dogs! Once registered you can then breed them and enter them in herding competitions. Unregistered dogs (for those that can not compete or are not accepted) can still be entered into goat-herding trials. Only registered dogs without health defects can be bred, in order to ensure all puppies are as healthy as possible.

*No, there are NOT any unrealistically colored WSS!
*You may register up to 8 WSS
*Custom Imports cost 2 Rare Pets
*You may ask artists to add items to dogs such as collars, harnesses, toys, etc - nothing that would harm dogs!
*Always feel free to ask questions!
The adoption process is simple! Just look under the main picture up there and click on one of the smaller images under it if you see a dog that looks interesting/that you like. If that dog is available still (should say "adopt me" on it's image and in the thread) then you can fill out the application. Each application is difference, from simple "name" ones to more difficult ones. It is not a first come first serve system, ever, so do not expect to win if you're the first to post. It' about effort!
