guysss
my concert of Great White and Slaughter was the other night, and my dad was supposed to take me but he got sick.
I was teasing my friend saying that since I was gonna be in the third row, I was most likely gonna get a pick, so I laughed and said I probably wasn't since it wasn't front row.
I got two picks
and that wasn't even the best part
My mom decided to stay seated where we were supposed to be because she doesn't like concerts very much, but she let me go up by the stage as close as I could get.
When Great White came on, I was cheering and clapping and such, and this nice lady next to me started talking to me.
Since I'm really young, she was shocked to hear that I listened to music like Slaughter and Great White, and she asked me where my mom was so I pointed back to where she sat. The lady, from then on, would move people out of the way so I could see, and she'd push me closer to the stage when she could, also to keep an eye on me and to keep me from getting hurt.
I was very thankful for that.
Near the end of Great White, she asked which band I liked more, between Great White and Slaughter. I told her I didn't know, as Mark Slaughter's voice was still amazing, but Great White was great. She laughed, then asked which band member I liked most in Great White. Again, I shrugged it off, saying I didn't know. She playfully pressured me to tell her which member, and I finally gave in to say that I liked the bassist, Scott Snyder, the most. He had been playing really well throughout the whole concert.
She said he was really nice, so naturally, I asked if she had met him, and she showed me her wristband that granted her backstage access.
I told her she was lucky, and she said, "I might be able to get you a picture with him if you want." I told her I had to ask my mom, so when the whole concert ended, I did ask and my mom said it was fine, so I followed the lady and she actually snuck me backstage quickly.
From there, she turned me into a small, cramped hallway where the lead singer was talking to some other people, then she brought me into a really small room with a large vanity where their I first saw Mark Kendall, their lead guitarist. The lady brought me to the corner of the room where Scott Snyder sat, putting some cords away. She asked if he'd take a picture with me, and he happily agreed to, so I did.
From there, we went around the room, and I took pictures with everyone in the room.
Outside, we found their singer, and he was really talkative yet nice, as most of them were kinda quiet.
The only band member we could not find was the drummer, which was disappointing, but whatever.
I got to meet Great White. 8D
