Of course now, Kevin had a little girl staring up at him like a maniac. He figure she probably was insane, kuku in the head, totally bonkers, she had at least a few screws loose up in that little head of hers and it was plainly obvious by the glint in her eyes. A glint Kevin knew all too well from his own years as a child. Although his little brother, more mature than he had always seemed to keep in check before he did something too outrageous. His eyes widened and he backed up a step at the aggressive way she handed her python, and he cringed. Ouch, that poor serpent.
Then she was staring up at the two, Kevin now having shrug over to Quinn’s side. “Save me, she’s going to kill us,” he whispered into the other boy’s ear, keeping careful to refrain from touching him. However, the fact that he was literally humming with electricity slipped his mind. Again orders were being shouted, and again Kevin was standing still and quiet, unsure what to do. The ashes of the burnt cigarette pack drifted away on the breeze and as he watched the ashes drift lazily in the air Quinn was violently attacked by the girl. Now she clung to his back, hands buried in his hair and kicking him as if he were a horse. Yep, she was definitely insane.
Quinn had sounded as if he was up for an expedition, at least up until the point of Hannah-Nora leaping on him. And despite his best efforts, seemed unable to dislodge the girl from his back. Kevin snorted, almost doubling over in his fit of laughter. Wiping tears from his eyes, he straightened up. Obviously they weren’t going to beat this kid by, well being grown-up so it was time unleash the inner child. “Sir! Yes Sir!” He roared in his best soldiers voice, saluting the girl. “Men to your battle stations! The enemy is coming in hot and I need you looking sharp!”
He slammed his skateboard on the pavement, plucking up the little girl’s board as he rolled past it. “Front and center! We’re the elite group gang, the special ops, be sharp and on the look out an-” He never finished on account of his wheel lodging on a small rock sending him head over heels toppling to the ground. “I’ve been hit!” He wailed. “Everyone duck and cover, it’s an ambush! Oh lord have mercy on my poor, poor soul!” He rolled on the ground, dramatically clutching his left shoulder.
He was on his feet quickly thought, a huge grin splitting his pale face. Hanna-Nora had dismounted Quinn, stomping the ground rigorously as she did so. Then she was back to barking at them and Kevin skated towards her, whacking her lightly with her own skateboard. He teased her, anime style of course, pulling one eyelid down and sticking his tongue out at her before skating away again. Ah how he’d missed being so careless and childish. The little girl bolted, grabbing the board from Kevin and he was careful to make sure she didn’t touch him and that no electricity spread through the board to her. He was successful for the most part, although a little jolt ran through and connected with the girl, but it could have been passed off as static electricity.
Then she was off and – laying on the ground. Just like that, boom. Her head thudded off the pavement and Kevin’s grin dropped almost instantly, but she recovered fast and disappeared into the bushes. He grimaced and considered going after her, but he didn’t want to risk being tackled by her. Electrocuting a ten year old was the last thing on his to-do list. “You, uh, you wanna help her?” His voice was concerned, and also cautious, but he’d never been good at comforting people anyways, he just knew how to be a clown and cause chaos.
But then again, this was definitely chaos.

Adam cast shadowed eyes to the boy standing on the roof of a car next to him, then averted his eyes back to scanning the town. In just a few hours it seemed to have fallen into total anarchy. His brother was sure to be all over this, being the little self-proclaimed anarchist that he was. He rolled his eyes at the thought and shook his head slightly. His brother never ceased to amaze him, of course Adam was the younger twin by about three minutes and it was something Kevin never let him forget. He shook his head again to jolt himself out of his thoughts, why was he even thinking about Kevin right now anyways? It wasn’t like he needed him or cared about him or anything.
A light Texan accent broke through his thoughts as they started to sour and he again shifted his attention to Evers, not really looking at him, but listening. His music has long since been shut off and stuffed into one of the pockets of his black cargo jacket. The word “C’mon” hung in the air for a second before he jumped off the car after the other boy, his combat boots making a similar thud as they hit the pavement.
He started after the boy, but hesitated. Why was he still with this weirdo anyways? He’d only needed the car to get to town, but, what was his purpose here? His dark eyes glazed over in a confused daze and he stood stock still, tossing thoughts back and forth through the forefront of his mind. He supposed he could always just knock this kid out or ditch if things turned sour.
Startling out of his reverie he lengthened his stride, quickly catching up to the other dark-haired boy and slowed again, walking a few feet to his left. Evers seemed to be taking a direction towards a person who had departed from Drew’s group. Mars, yet another person Adam hated with passion. Although there was no shortage of those. “What do you want with him?” He finally asked a few moments after Mars had vanished from their line of sight. “All he’s going to do is try to pick a fight, he isn’t as...diplomatic, shall we say, as Drew.” He wasn't defending Drew by any means, he hated him just as much as everyone else. Perhaps Evers had been talking whilst he had been lost in thought and he had missed something, an explanation. It was probable, no doubt. But still, Adam didn’t particularly want to go talk to that psycho, not that he himself was completely sane either.
As they reached the place where Mars had disappeared there was a violent explosion that reverberated through the alley. The sound of shattering glass hit Adam’s ears and he raised a questioning eyebrow and shook his head, not at all surprised. “Loco,” he muttered under his breath harshly then raised his voice, “should we go...investigate?”
