((Oh, YAY! Rose liked something I wrote! It made me really happy. And, GRR! *burns one-liners piling up everywhere, then eats the ashes* Rawr, so unappetizing! And Rose, I did read your post, and my thought was: Tink's was right, Ashwhisker is emo. If a cat can act emo. 0_o Where is my cousin, anyway? Honestly, I wanted Graypaw to see to Littlepaw, but...))
Gathering ((People are forgetting to do that. Maybe they don't know,))
"H-Hi F-Flow--" Graypaw began before Ashpaw's tail tip shoved itself into his mouth. He spat it out, and decided to stay quiet for his own protection.
"Why hello there Flowerpaw, how is everything?" Ashpaw greeted. He gave a side glance to Graypaw, hoping he'd keep his mouth shut. This was a chance to get his unmateable brother someone interesting! Whereas there were no she-cat apprentices in Fireclan, he didn't have a problem with it, because he had fun bouncing around and seeing all of the other powerful apprentices around. Besides, fire was hot, so he knew he would probably get someones attention. His parents were of different clans, so it wasn't a problem. Besides, it gave him more of a range, more of a hard-to-get factor. And it was going to be oh so fun to do.
Until a happy-go-lucky medicine cat apprentice came into the conversation.
"Hey, everyone, hows it going?" Gracepaw looked over at Ashpaw. He must be acting silly again.
"W-We're fine..." In the presence of his sister, Graypaw forgot to keep quiet. He shut it again as Ashpaw gave him the evil eye.

Birchpaw sighed as she sat alone among the crowds of the gathering. All of her siblings left, not wanting to spend time together as a family, too busy making friends. She didn't really need friends, not with her big family.
She felt a tail tip touch her shoulder, and looked to see her father, Orangewhisker. "Why the long face, Birchpaw?" he asked warmly. She had heard tales as a kit that her father was once like Ashpaw, toying with every she-cat's heart before finding her mother in Iceclan. Now he was just a fatherly figure, albeit a sad one.
"All of the others wandered off to talk to other cats. I thought we should spend the Gathering together..." She trailed off.
Orangewhisker paused for a moment, looking to the sky. "How about I tell you the story about when I first met your mother?" he asked.
"Aw, Father, I've already heard that one..." Birchpaw looked in her father's green eyes. "Okay... go ahead."
((Aww, cute father/daughter bonding time! Can't post for Creampaw because I'm waiting for Ashfeather.))
