A full year has passed for the Furry Thread. Back when it was very new, there was spam galore and things were SO different. People were friendlier on that and there were less Furries. Hell, I used to brag to my Zoo friends about how nice the Furry Thread was.

Aww, jeez, the old layout is such a vague memory...>.< I can barely remember it...and the old pound system, I miss that. xD and for some reason, people were nicer then.

I remember when we didn't have the wishlist system and had to make our own wishlists XD

Oh my goodness, thats what I remember most! I still have some screenshots I took trying to make my wishlist image... goodness, it just took so long to find the proper image... and then editing it all.

I also remember when looking down that 'who's online' list, and never seeing above 3 to 4 lines of people. Now it feels like there is always thousands of people on XD

I remember that so well. We would have links to our wishlists in our signature or what-not.

I remember how much easier it was to get rarer pets back then. ^^
Oh ya, and I remember that before Chubbymanatee and others joined, Smincy's art shop was one of the biggest... and Compumon's.

And only adopting about 5 of each dog even when we had unlimited adoptions because it was such a pain to only adopt one at a time, and if you went crazy clicking the adopt button you'd usually still only get about 3 in one go. And the whole reason for the adoption limits (People were going crazy adopting the purple and green second gens because the winged 2nd gens were valued so high, if I recall correctly). Plus there were like a billion Octobers and they were worth so little because of that that people were pretty much giving them away.

Actually that was one of the first litters that did have an adoption limit...the limit was put into place because in october everyone went nuts adopted the spotted/striped red/blue/orange dogs because they figured out there were nine outcomes. I was one of them for sure, I didn't even think about something like server load then.

I can honestly say I'm one of the oldest members on here, even if I'm not incredibly active in the forums, haha. Which is fun. I remember when we didn't even have accounts, and you always had to save the code for your pet somewhere or bookmark the page, and when someone figured out the &adopt=true thing it was the most amazing useful trick in the world.

I also remember my first time going into the forums and seeing the whole kittyhello mess. Back then I didn't even know what a custom was.
