I'm going to apply these cats myself, but I'll let most of the traits develop over the RP, I'll ask anyone if they will want to be one of these characters, of course they will have to be active! I think this is what you think it is, Since I don't think anyone else is voting, I asked my friend to be the tie breaker. Seems the first one won ;D)

Name Reasoning: Sage-, while traditional, is actually for a grey cat. This one is black and white - and I'm afraid that, no, black and white don't cancel each other out here.
The suffix -wind isn't a very good suffix to pick. It could be saying that he's a fast cat (he's not), but that's already covered by -foot. Besides, not all winds are fast or strong; "wind" is the general term for breezes as well as squalls and gales. It could actually represent anything; the worst being that the cat is continuously gassy - which, really, would you name a cat for that?
Alternative Name: Badgerstorm/Badgerfur. Badger- indicates a black and white cat, and -storm is for his turbulent personality, while -fur is for if you decide that he's really not all that aggressive.

Character Rating: 7/10
Character Reasoning: You have something going with the grumpy bit, but it's negated by the politeness and calmness. I would remove those traits almost entirely, letting them be used only in tiny doses in particular situations. Emphasize his temper and quick-to-fight attitude.

I think that it doesn't really matter much where the cat starts out! Some who think that because they have a loner their names can be nonsensical/pretty without meaning are following what I call the "SkyClan naming method", in which cats simply receive silly names because they used to be loners or kittypets (Billystorm, Rosycheeks, etc) and the prefix means something to them, I guess.

Traditionalism works as a practicality - names are given to describe the cat, so you have an idea of who you're dealing with. You know that Blueclaw is a blue cat with a talent in fighting, and you know that Russetheart is a dark ginger with a fierce sense of doing right. The names may not always be pretty sounding or even a little funny (Widgeonpaw, Sycamoretail, Slugfoot), but you know what you're dealing with and that's what matters.

A loner that joins a Clan is giving up the life they once had in exchange for a new one. They cannot live with a connection to their old life, and they aren't allowed to pick their own name - that's the leader's job. Their name follows the naming system to the letter, no matter what.

To make it short: Blueice is a pretty bad name that I don't think any leader would bestow on a cat just joining the Clan. If the cat named themselves that? Well, that's their decision, I guess.

An oddly small she-cat also. She's an amazing hunter, but bad fighter. She's better at climbing trees and running. Swimming is a weak point for her. She isn't very strong, but isn't shy at all. She is very careless!
Important Notes: Was given the name 'Sun' by her father (Tigerflight) for her sunny coat. Later named 'Sundance' for her love of movements and odd ways of hunting.

Name Reasoning: Granted, it's a very nice-sounding name, and a name in the real world, but it doesn't quite work with traditionalism. The sun is a very important fixture in the Clan's life, like the moon and stars, and those are also not allowed, as they're considered sacred by the cats. Though we picture the sun as yellow (and science does indeed confirm that it's yellow), taking a look into the sun will only sport you a blinding white light and you'll see spots for a few minutes.
Like songs, cats are not very aware of what a dance actually is. Dancing, like singing or painting, is an art, and art is not really something that the cats have. Besides, no matter how odd she can be hunting, she's still a skilled hunter, and that deserves to be named over her tactics.
Alternative Name: Applewhisker/Daisywhisker. Apple- and Daisy- convey a golden cat (which is what she is), and -whisker shows off her hunting skills.

Character Reasoning: She's a very strongly developed character, and she sounds like a very fun cat to interact with! I have no problems with her.

Reasoning: Just sayin', when I hear "blood-boiling battle cry", I'm picturing a cat screaming into a mic with heavy metal playing in the background. Or a Celtic pre-battle technique. Whichever you prefer.
Deer- is nearly close to a proper traditional name, Fawn-. I know, it's a little weird, but don't worry about it, you were close. While she may have a hardcore battle voice that can switch between soft-spokeness, I don't think that's something she should be named for. As a side note, I'd like to think that she's a very good battler over hunting, because, really, what's more terrifying than a cat screaming towards you at god-knows-how-fast before they tackle you?
Alternative Name: Fawnclaw. Fawn- is for a light brown cat, and -claw is out of my own suggestion to change her talents to fighting.
