"I was thinking we could walk, or hike.."

Cecilie's eyes lit up. "Oui, I love hiking! I used to hike with my parents as a little girl. I haven't been in a while though..." Her smile faltered a bit, but she his it quickly.

Jack noticed her smile fall. "You okay?"

Cecilie sighed and nodded. "Yeah, I just...I was thinking about my parents."

Jack sighed. "You don't talk about them," he said brushing hair from her face.

Cecilie sighed and shook her head. "My parents..." She bit her lip. "My parents used to be so amazing. They were there for all of us and loved us so much. We loved them too." She started to choke up.

Jack kissed her head, holding her close. "You don't have to talk about them if you don't want."

Cecilie sniffled and nodded. "Okay," she said quietly. "I need to get it out at some point though."

"And I'm here for when you want to do that," he said softly.

Cecilie nodded and buried her face in his neck. "Thank you, Jack. It truly means a lot."
