Suzaku's eyes widened. "Ty-okaasan went . . . primal?! She hasn't done that since Itachi-senpai was killed two years ago!"

"W-Well . . . . Okaasan's primal can only come out when her emotions are in a state of complete disarray, like when she's completely consumed by anger, or hate. Or, it can occassionally come out when she's extremely thirsty and there's a very potent scent around. It . . . doesn't happen very often, and it's usually pretty bad when it does . . . ." Suzaku paused, looking at Fredric. "But you saw that first hand, didn't you? It must have been scary." the soldier wrapped his arms around the smaller boy's shoulders. "I'm sorry you had to see that."

Ran smiled contently. "Okay, everyone, we're done here." She glanced up at Liam swung over her shoulder ((T_T)) "Erm...any chance you can get him back home quickly, Seto?"

Seto's cobalt blue eyes narrowed. "Yeah, I can. Hang on for a minute." he replied, disappearing around the corner.

Suzaku nodded. "I understand. Shall we go wake her up now?"
