I never contemplated Argis because on my playthroughs for some reason I was like ''no..housecarls are off limits!''. I don't no why XP... I think Argis would be pretty awesome as a spouse.
In the end, my first character married Vorstag the merc from the Silver-Blood Inn, he's got a nice voice and he's pretty hot. However, my main character ended up marrying Marcurio, the mage merc from Bee and the Bard in Riften! (my first character had sacrificied him to Boethiah!) In my opinion, Marcurio is probably one of the better-looking male spouses, and the sarcastic dialogue he comes out with makes me laugh. Plus, (if hearthfire is installed and you adopt kids) he is one of the only spouses who will have new dialogue options about the children - which is pretty cool. Also, Marcurio leaves inheritance if he dies in your service as a companion, the longer he's in your service, the higher the inheritance!
Thanks for the input. I actually didn't know either of these guys existed, or if I did, then I obviously don't remember them. I tend not to pay attention to mercs because of course I have housecarls or the Companions or basically anyone I've befriended. I usually stick with just Lydia, lol.
Vorstag is a bit attractive, but not really my type when I listen to him. And apparently he really likes caves and Dwemer stuff; I cannot express how much I
hate caves and Dwemer stuff, haha. Marcurio... I just don't think he's my type. I'm all for sarcasm, but I'm the sarcastic one and I don't think putting two sarcastic people together makes for a good couple, at least not when I'm half of that couple. And I don't really find him attractive. *shrug* He is just bleh to me.
As I said, thanks for the input. I have also been apprehensive about marrying a housecarl... it would just be weird.... "You are my servant, I order you to marry me!" "Yes, my Thane." X) Oh, and I see what you mean about not wanting to split up the Companions... you marry 'im and he goes to live with you, which in my case would be all the way down at my main house, Lakeview Manor..... Man, I really gotta think about this.......
Why isn't Brynjolf marriageable it woULD BE SO PERFECT
