[antler apathy]

It was january, almost twenty five ago when everything shut down.
Something happened in all it's glory. Things began shifting, the earth's crust split, volcanoes once dead began to erupt, ash fell. The sun was bleary, plants began to die. There was an intense heat from the breaks in the crust and society fell into shambles unable to sustain itself under these new conditions. Groups broke off, warlord and gangs formed to take what they could and survive. There was no more civility or politics. It was chaos. And then in the darkest hour something emerged from the land underneath. Beings with mangled bodies, alien to anything anyone had seen before. They hunted, killed, scouring the remains of the broken societies for any and all living beings they could take.
You witnessed the shift at a young age, or maybe were born into a world already destroyed. You were raised to adapt and survive, everything you are aware of is all one large plot to keep moving. You can't stop now.

short personality: Layla is insecure, slightly shy, kind, and self-conscious. She has a hard time believing people when they compliment her. Her absolute biggest dream is to become a movie star, but due to her insecurity and low self-esteem, she feels she can't do it. She can be shy around newcomers, but if you hang around her she'll warm up to you and become loud, funny, bubbly, and talkative. She warms up to people and trusts them very easily. She loves being around people, despite her shyness towards strangers.
Layla has her bad side, just like every one else. It kicks in when she doesn't get what she wants. On dreary, cold, wet winter days, she can just become grumpy and dull. When the sun comes out, though, she is back to happy and bright again. Things can bring her down easily, but she can get back up again just as easy.
Layla can be a little naive and oblivious at times. She doesn't handle stress very well, making her prone to breakdowns. She can't handle any kind of bad situation well, it really sends her into a depressed state.
Layla is very organized, due to her OCD. She's a perfectionist; any little imperfection will drive her insane. She enjoys organizing and planning.
Layla can get scared very easily, giving her the nickname 'Scaredy-Cat'. Any little thing can make her jump, whether it be a scary Halloween mask or a bolt of lightning. Horror movies like Paranormal Activity will get her very paranoid, thinking an evil monster will come out of her closet and maul her. Rollercoasters and fast-moving objects including plains, trains, boats, and cars really scare her as well.

brief history*: Hunter isn't completely zombie. Though he may look like one the Virus has been unable to take over his brain. Before the Virus he was a normal dog. Happy to go about his life. When the Virus became airborne those animals who were not ready became a zombie

short personality: Mitsuki is often considered a mother-like figure, and tries to keep it that way. She cares a lot about the people she meets, especially younger ones, and has a soft heart for whoever seems to need one. She's often around for someone who needs a shoulder to cry on, and has a good temper when it comes to keeping it. She's genuine, but often sugar-coats the truth. Trying to make everyone happy is her goal, despite her own knowing that it will never occur. When in a fighting group, she attempts to be the peacekeeper.

However, alongside her personality comes the negatives, too. While she's considered a kind person, sometimes that fact branches out too much. Unlike her brother, Mitsuki is trusting of absolutely everyone the moment they say 'hello'. This often gets her into a lot of trouble, (however she would normally be helped by her brother.) and she'd have to think of a way to fix it. Another thing is that she absolutely hates making someone feel bad. If they're acting as if they feel bad, she'll immediately try and help them however she can, no matter how bad they are. If someone is in danger, Mitsuki will put herself in danger before them, even if it seems impossible.

All in all, Mitsuki is a great help when it comes to comfort and a friend, but bad when it comes to how naive she is at times, and saying 'no'.

family: Mitsuki has an older brother whom is still alive, but other than him she doesn't have anymore family that's alive. She hasn't seen her brother in a while though, but knows he's alive.

love interest: Single, without a crush on anyone.
