Breed: Shire x Thoroughbred
Colouration: Buckskin Roan
Personality: diem is a kind and intelligent horse, she can be stubborn at times and is generally very determined
History (with optional illustration): Diem was born on a ranch in the winter. there was a layer of fresh snow on the ground and her dam was teaching her how to find the grass underneath the snow when a knight rode up on a stallion who seemed to be old in age. though the knight loved his stallion he talked of needing a new horse. a horse that was kind and intelligent and very determined. the knight asked for a mare but that it would be young in age. the knight wanted one he could train to his liking and one that would have a bond with him. the owner pointed out multiple mares of breeding age but they were all rejected, he thought about looking elsewhere until he saw diem and her dam trotting about in the snow. the knight chose her and began to train her when she turned three. diem has been with the knight since then and has competed in multiple jousting tournaments. the knight adores the mare and would never sell her.

Barn Name: Zlata
Age: 5 Years
Gender: Mare
Breed: Shire x Arabian
Colouration: Buckskin Roan
Personality: Zlata is a well mannered mare with a competitive streak. She loves competing, especially when she wins. She does, however, not mind being second place as long as she did her best and had fun. If she doesn't win she will be kind and acknowledge the winner and then go and try to figure out her faults. She is dedicated and will practice until she feels she has done her best. When she isn't competing she is a calm and collected girl who is kind to all, but outspoken and willing to stick up for her opinions.
History (with optional illustration):Zlata was born in the early spring before the sun had risen. The air outside had been cool but the light when it came had been the color of pale gold. This along with her matching coat color was the origin of her name, Zlata meaning “golden”. Her mother was a beautiful lean mare who was used for eventing and pleasure riding. Her father was a handsome stallion, strong and muscular who was also a jousting horse as she would too one day be. As a young filly she would play with the other in the field racing and dashing, stopping on a dime and turning. She was always trying to be the best, the fastest, the strongest, the most agile her competitiveness showing through at an early age. She was soon paired up with a young lad whose parents owned the stables Zlata was born in. Though she was difficult and proud he taught her to be gentle and disciplined. As they worked together, trained together they became a team. Not only did they know what they were practicing but they soon began to be able to predict what the other would do, act or feel. When they entered their first jousting competition they were not expected to passed the first round. But with their teamwork and hard work they were able to make it to the final round, but ended coming in second. They continued with their practice and competing winning a few jousting matches losing some as well. Many tried to pay the boy for Zlata but he could never bare to part with her. Now they have become seasoned in jousting and have come once again to try for a win, but will be proud if they have come and done their best no matter the outcome.
