Windstep sighed and laid her head on her paw, she gave one more ear-piercing screech then fell asleep.

Jay prodded the she-cat's flank in annoyance.

Blackstar yawned and sat at the border of the Dark Forest, within earshot of Whitewing and the kits.

"Sorry.." Fernpaw mewed and looked down at the ground. "When can we learn some new herbs?"

Glowingheart saw blackstar but again seemed like she didn't see him and stayed silent

"It depends, do you want to now?" Fallenleaf asked,padding towards his apprentice.

"You seem to be ignoring my presence." Blackstar said,looking at Glowingheart with his piercing yellow eyes

Fernpaw looked up quickly and made a slight hop. "Yes!"

Fallenleaf purred at Fernpaw's excitement. "Alright, would you like to go out and get fresh herbs, or use the ones we have in the store?" He asked,waiting for her reply
