My story's going pretty well I'm on chapter 3 (I did a rather long prologue) it's called dragons bane my story not the chapter how's yours going?

Not started. It's a bit odd so I need to have a good think about the storyline. It might be a comic too, I don't know. Life's a bit busy too, so... I've done a poem about it if you want to have a little read

Good luck then. Here's the poem:

It floated on the air,
Without a single care,
For it was brave and bold,
Not one who hoarded gold.

A young boy rode on its back,
And carried on him a little sack,
He wore a cloak and boots with fur at the rim,
Carried a sword, rode the beast; no one dared harm him.

The partners were quite queer,
Yet both had never a fear,
For the creature’s breathe was light,
And the boy could put up a fight.

The two forever tried their best,
But best wasn’t enough for their quest,
Which would lead them on through places cold,
And onto dear life they would hold…

Between its great wings the boy sat,
Like it was a comfy mat.
But its scaly spine made that fake,
For he sat on the back…
Of a fire drake.

Yes, a dragon, a dragon!
It’s breath of fire could blacken,
Could destroy the trees, havoc to the world!
Yet this trustworthy drake may not say a word.

Stories have it written down,
That the two had destroyed a town,
But some stories also tell,
That they would peacefully dwell.

The stories that thought they did bad
Would often make the dragon quite sad,
For they may have claimed it was from hell!
However, the stories that said it did well,
It could easily make them quite fake -
For it indeed…
Was a fire drake.

It's a bit of an old folklorian kind of poem, if I put it into a story.
