Ilia nodded, finally setting the deer down and absently removing the arrow from its chest. She glanced at Zephyrus.

He walked away to the house. Zephyrus looked at Ilia, glared, snorted, and trotted away from her after Devon. He walked out of the house dragging the small cot when the horse asked, Whyare we helping them?! They're West Kingdom people! It doesn't matter that they disregard that fact. Devon kept going. "She's pretty and has nowhere else to go. Do you need any more reasons than that?"

Ilia smiled faintly. She didn't understand why the equine was acting this way, though it was an attitude she had experience with. It was one of the reasons she'd left her family. Every Kingdom's people thought they were better than the others, simply because they were born on a certain side of a border.

"Not too long. Maybe five more miles." I reply, giving a small smile. Alari and I share a glance. "Not very used to this kind of travel?" I ask, slicing through a low hanging thin branch with my blade. The carefully sharpened sword cuts through the dry wood. Once I get to Castle White, I'm leaving her there. I don't want to be responsible for more people than I have to. Khalil and Snow are enough to handle.

Renn|West Kingdom|Wolf~Torak|West Woods

I lowered my bow warily. "My apologies." I say, deciding to trust him. "I thought you were some Northern scum." I unload my bow, keeping it on hand. Torak seemed to think they were trustworthy, for now at least. We could tell what we were thinking so well without even speaking. Suddenly I saw a massive black dragon fly over and a thunderous roar shook the ground. I grinned slightly, looking to Torak.,it would be unwise to ignore the call of the King. I looked up, howling with Torak as a battle cry. I glanced back to the boy. "If you aren't truly West, you better start running." I told him, smiling with glee before running off after the massive shadow of the dragon.

Avian|East Kingdom|Bird~Typhoon|North Border

We flew upwards as we reached the border with the North. It was a large Kingdom, compared to ours but it was easier to get into. We reached the clouds and could just about see the slight lack of trees that indicated the stream where the border between North and West. My eyes widened as I saw the trees in the North suddenly catch fire and a large black dragon came into view. It didn't involve the East though, for now at least.

Emberlynn|South Kingdom|Horse~Spirit|South approaching West

I cantered aimlessly on Spirit. We could relax for at least a while. There hadn't been as many attacks from the West recently but that just made it more suspicious. I didn't know what we would do if they made a full scale invasion. We could either go to the East or North for help and risk being turned down, or attempt to invade them. I feel that invading them would be the best for my people but I don't want to ruin the peace between us, one corrupted Kingdom is enough. I also feel like that is the West's plan. I sigh as my thoughts are interrupted by Spirit. "None of that's happened yet." I shake my head, that horse can read my mind.

He returned to the barn with the small cot and Zephyrus at his heels. "We can take care of that deer out back. I already have some tools for this kind of thing there."

Ilia nodded, lifting it again. "All right. Thank you." Been saying that a lot today... Odd.

I shrugged. I then frowned. I started running after her. "This is my home. I don't run!" I grumbled. Ero chuckled. I snorted at my wolf as I chased after the girl. "By the way, name is Shiro Pantera! But call m Shiro or Pantera!" I said, smirking.

Zephyrus stayed behind as the Devon walked out back to help clean it. Even Devon had to admit that it was rather repulsing to clean the doe, but it was necesary. Once he was done, he walked over to a tiny well by the barn. Shaking his hands off he called to Ilia, "We can wash our hands here," and began to hoist up the bucket from the bottom.
