Ryan nodded and waved goodbye as he ran home in a limp.Once he could see their farm in the distance he slowled to a walk.

"It's best to keep moving,we don't know what other creatures could roam this forest and if they're carnivores and they smell the fish...they'll be there in a flash"she said as they walked"So it's best to get moving after we eat and rest...at least in my opinion"she said as she glanced around the forest.

Nunki looked down, "Yeah...you do have a point. But the thing is, I can't be a slave..." She said, sighing, "Although I can be kidnapped and used for ransom. Almost happened to me earlier."

"Yeah, I agree with you Sage. Can't have us being killed by a bunch of carnivores." Fane said, walking.

"True." Fane said, putting on his gloves, then offered Sage his extra pair of gloves.

Sage smiled"Thanks"she said and put on the gloves"Where I used to live,it snowed a lot there...so by now I'm used to the cold and I prefer it than the sun beating down on me"she said before blinking harshly.

"Yeah, I...I want my brother to be happy, but I just...I don't know about this. I mean, it just gives him more reasons to be more overprotective...And it just...it all just...brings back horrible memories from my past." Nunki said, sighing.

"I see, and no problem at all Sage." Fane said, breathing in the crisp, cold air of the woods.

Sage stayed quiet,watching her breath form a mist and then disappear into the air.She looked ahead,seeing nothing but vegetation and darkness.

Nunki smiled, "I really appreciate yours and Jasper's hospitality. I'll come here often." Nunki said as she pulled away from the hug, then she looked at Jasper, "Bye, I'll see you tomorrow!" She said and with that, she started to walk towards the village stables.

"Well, I guess we should be resting now." Fane said, stretching.

Him and his mother waved good-bye before walking back into their cottage and cleaning up.Jasper sat down in the living room with a cup of mint tea and a pastry.

Sage nodded"I'll keep guard,I'm used to staying up"she said as she pulled out a blanket{we'll call the bigger ones that they use as blankets...blankets}and handed it to Fane.

Nunki sighed when she reached the village stables. She put the basket of goods in the saddle pouch on Sonador and mounted the horse. "That's my good girl, staying here nice and calm." She said, patting the horse's neck.

"Ok, good night Sage." He said before grabbing the blanket and went to sleep on the ground.
