Alli sighed and nodded. "Okay," she said quietly.

"I'll figure something out, I promise," he said.

Alli nodded a bit. He always knew what to do. "Thank you, Cam." To be honest, she wasn't sure what to say. She just felt so stupid right then. She'd been hurt by the king and unable to defend herself. It was pitiful and embarrassing.

Alli looked up at him and offered a small smile.

"I love you too," Alli said softly, putting aside her negative thoughts as she looked up at him.
